Many people appreciate the little pause, and for a reason, it's really kickass, BUT my favorite bit is when they DON'T do the same pause at the final verse. The two together feel like something has turned unstoppable throughout the song. The fire engulfing the Universe, namely.

I know this comment is old as balls, but I just realized one thing: A lot of fans don't realize the little pause is to simulate an old, poor quality vinyl disc. These kinds of pauses were common due to wear and tear. And of course the pause doesn't repeat, because the disc wouldn't be damaged on both tracks.

This is one of my go to songs for when fighting battles that should be impossible odds in Star Trek Online. i have fought and won battles that no single player should be able to win thanks to this song. I have solo'd Hive Onslaught on advanced solo, I have destroyed some of the most powerful players in PvP, I have won the Battle of Korfez, fought the Tzenkethi in near the event horizon of a microquasar, defeated the borg on their own terf and dominated the Iconians to this song. It just makes massive battles feel epic and brings me a rare form of joy that few other things bring me. Thank you for this song. It will always hold a place in my heart as a song that has influenced many of the recent things that will forever be memories worth keeping until the inevitable end.

I think this is perfect for a villain song. Especially one in a parody movie. LIke, the villain could be singing this song to brag about his insane power he got from the essence of the Children of the Almighty, Hà and Sànghá, as the hero does a dance fight with him. Innovative idea for the villain song to be sang DURING the battle, right?

I know the obvious comparison is Warhammer 40k, but I can't help drawing parallels to Destiny as well. I mean, "Solar Gun" and "Nova Bombs"? Granted that's all fairly common sci-fi terminology, but that's what makes Gloryhammer fun. It fits with almost any universe outside its own, because Gloryhammer just uses _every trope it can_ and it's FANTASTIC.
