Why do all the reviews say she has "long range secondaries" when she has the base tier 10 7.3km, not the 8.3km Germany and France gets?! (Yes I know that would put them at further range than her minimum concealment. They could have put them at 8km stock, and that still doesn't explain the reviews calling them long range? they're literally less than average range)

The ship is fun, Just to point out that although BBs look to be getting their secondaries back nothing in that Commander Skill change that I have seen will return the range and accuracy back to the cruisers. As you stated the single skill for secondaries helps but it isn't quite there. That being said these secondaries are really fast firing and the Sap makes them quite effective, the only way to correct what they did to the Siegfried and the Agir would be to improve the rate of fire they will never get the range back I fear but if they can work at 9.2 they can be back to having what was part of their balance.

Just picked it up and I'm loving it. Super fun to be rewarded for aggressive play. Can be frustrating to almost be in range of secondaries and lose spotting on everything. A spotting plane would probably be a bit OP I guess.

That Plymouth got reamed, all the BBs on that team broadsiding the napoli and then they turned away instead of turning into the enemy. The tirpitz that was crippled relatively early when he sailed into D and broadsided the yamato spent the whole match complaining in chat about other ships being dead weight. While on the right aide of the map they had 0 spotting as the gearing was hard up against the map edge launching torps at max range.

I think you, iChase, and Jingles should make a competing game. I would not be surprised if you folks get more players in 3 months then the current World of Warships player base.

Chase I completely agree with you!! Where are the secodnary buffs for CA's..cl's and CV's. I build agir, and Alaska secodnaires..as well as all Pasta HEAVY CA's..they have a shit ton of secodnareis to start fires...and I build ALL cv's with all modules and skill to secondareis as I love nothing more then surprising DD's trying to snipe me.

Either this ship or Yoshino for my next coal ship. However, consider secondary build on cruiser is no longer that viable, perhap Yoshino is still a better choice

I rather wish the Italian cruisers had more utility in their consumables. After coming off the US and French lines I feel like I'm lacking tools.

@iChaseGaming quick question, if i am not mistaking the fire chance on the guns in the game is 16% and in your review it is actually 18%. So i am going to guess, that you have played the ship before the release maybe and for the release they have changed the parameters. Because almost everybody that i have talked to said that the secondaries on the ship are underwhelming and they contradict your review of the ship. I think you look at it again. That fire chance raised my suspision more. many of the players are scraping the secondary build for range actually now. thank you in advance

A real shame cruisers don't get Manual Secondaries anymore, considering the buff that skill is getting soon. I'm currently saving my coal for the Marco Polo, but i'm honestly not sure which to get now, that, or this.

How do you overpen a broadside North Carolina.....? I freeze framed the shot and you landed all of those into its belt and hull. A disturbing number of your shots hit the water just short of the bulge and just vanished from existence, no traveling through water to hit the armor at all. That's so freaky and weird it doesn't make sense.

A bit hard to hit citadel but turtleback not really going to bounce a good portion of Baltimore's AP, fire chance and HE damage for 254mm is subpar not reasonable but still useful, a lot of potential damage came from multiple airstrikes (348k each) but Napoli is still durable against any of it due to small structure and 40mm deck.

What is “fun” about a non player controlled game aspect like secondaries being a main component of a ship? It’s literally not related to player skill, aside from positioning and timing choices. Effective, sure. Fun? Doesn’t seem like it. I’ll be sure to respect them in my DDs, and avoid or take them out.

9.2km range is very questionable in high tier tho. But 254mm main guns are nice. They can overmatch stuff like Mino, Smolensk and Colbert.

The reviews for this ship are all over the place! A number of people who really like this ship, but understand it isn't overpowered. The others hate this ship and see it as one of the most useless ships warships has yet introduced. I've seen a number of battles with a Napoli just wrecking DD's who get into secondary range and helping teams during pushes. Sucks that there is no way to try out ships, even coop with nothing gained from a test battle, to see how it feels.
