Ever heard of price fixing cartel? 6% across the board is not price fixing? Know anyone who paid lower than 6% as a seller?

You’re being presented as the experts and you think commissions are just now negotiable and there was a “standard” of 6%? You think you do the contract “at the end?” The contract is near the beginning! What about what this does to buyers who don’t have commission money in addition to their other closing costs or VA buyers who aren’t allowed to pay the commission? Its a very short-sighted seller who doesn’t want to mobilize all the buyers agents out there to bring their clients to the listing. This was so much misinformation! Maybe you should stick to talking about rentals and leave real estate sales to the professionals. Signed, a Realtor, whose commissions have always been negotiable and earned!
