About Dāv Kaufman
Hey Everyone, I’m Dāv Kaufman. I’m a film producer and author and I travel around the world filming amazing reptile, fishing and animal adventures! I’m also an ardent conservationist and reptile breeder, specializing in New Caledonian geckos, bullsnakes, hognose snakes, and ball pythons, especially pied morphs. I hold a BA in History and Media Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude. In my travels around the world, I strive to create educational and entertaining videos about all animals from common and exotic pets and how they are living in the wild, to animal caregivers and keepers of exotics, to fishing expeditions from the exotic to local waterways. The bit about kids getting a new appreciation for reptiles and animals in general from getting new pets at reptile expos was so true for me. My dad took me to local expos while I was little and we always left with something. I think that’s what started me down this path.

Same! I remember my first expo my dad took me to when I was 11 and got my first albino corn. Sadly my step brother let it loose but have been hooked since. Now I have a gray banded king and can't wait to grow my collection!

Those were some pretty cool paradox’s . It looked like there was some other really cool stuff. I seen some spilotes and i think i seen some indigos there too. Both those are super bad ass species that i would love to have but are fairly hard to find here in the UK.

I love the reptarium!!! Sadly because the local mom and pop store closed a few months ago y'all are the only place in the area that sells live feeders😭 makes one tempted to open their own reptile store in Denton county.

The poop penie reminds me of the bird poop knife my family had. We had a parakeet and cockatiel and we used the knice to scrap poop off of perches. The knife was labeled so it wasn't used for anything other scrapping off the poop from perches. No to be confused with the poop knife from reddit.

Great award picks. I especially loved those incredible displays at Mike's Monitors. I loved your interactions with Emily from Snake Discovery as well as with Cataleah. Hey Dave....great stuff as always. Never been to TP as I now live in Bucks County north of Philly. We lived in Mt Prospect Hts,I'll near Arlington Hts and Des Plains. Best part of the show.....Robyn,by far. I'm going to buy every bloody tool he's got man. Ingenius...and Robyn is why America is so great,innovative snake $#itt scraping tools. Be great if he added snake hooks too. Only one thing Dave,can you ask Robyn if he has all his stuff in camouflage? 😊😊😊😊

@ I know it's sad. Have you every heard of desertgemherps Mike Rodriguez is a breeder of many uromastyx species, he lives in California. Check him out on Instagram. It would be cool to see you do a video of his collection or there is verrazzanoreptiles in New York who also breed many species also on Instagram. If you are ever interested. actually, most of the alligator lizards we have will go up in the trees at least the ones we keep on the west coast. I keep some and I've observed them climbing up into trees into birds nests to eat eggs
