Nobody dared to lower the corporate tax. Nobody dared to make 0 incometax for people below 5 lakhs. People should shed their selective memory loss and look at things holistically. Nodoubt Modi could have definitely done without demonitasation. that was the most foolish thing to do. but he has reaped political benefits for that. It was a huge risk and it could have gone in any direction. Fortunately for him it had got him political dividends. but it is not the first time a political correct decision has been a wrong ( very bad ) economic decision. Nationalisation of banks was equally bad. for which we are having the huge NPA issues. but nobody will talk about that.

Pertinent question today is where are we heading as a democracy. I can see two sets of people in current indian landscape. One who wants a hindutva state and get ruled by Mr. Modi and others who wants to get governed by an elected representative democraticaly. If we go by percentage in last election of 2019 only 37% fits in first category rest 63% falls under the second. I find myself in the latter. #NoVoteToBJP #ElectoralBondScam
