Kids from the 50s,60s who grew up hearing be his music .And knowing her mom knew him And step Dad knew him.bought all his Albums.loved all his music.If he was still performing .He would still be making his. I watched him last week on an old episode of The Porter Wagoner Show. Not sure I would have recognized him after all these years, but would have known him instantly once he started singing. He sounds just as good as ever.

Seen Narvel three times here in the UK.One time at our local theatre he was support to Slim Whitman and to be fair he was the class act, Whitman couldn't hold a candle to Narvel. I met him after the show, what a gentleman. He had spent the second half of the show sat in the foyer talking to my sister who had a bunch of Narvel's albums for him to sign. What a guy!!

I bought a double cassette of Narvel's hits at Ernest Tubbs Record Shop in Nashville in 1996. The best $1.99 I ever spent ;) Still have it somewhere. Johnny Adams did a stunning job on this song on Sun in 1969, as well.

He is a very humble man with a heart of gold. He is also immensely talented.

Narvel is The Best , I just live about 10 miles from him here in Missouri and I see him pretty often. Not only is he talented he is also a humble and gracious human being . On a side note that’s Randy Cirlante playing drums that was a member of The Band and The Levon Helm Band and The Weight Band , I just wonder since that is in NY if that’s who was backing him, that’s where Randy lives

with Randy Ciarlante (from The Band) on drums.
