Unfiltered images right from the track. In this episode, we spend FP1 with this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans innovative entry, and arguably one of the loudest cars on track, NASCAR Garage 56!
The FIA World Endurance Championship is the world’s premier international sportscar championship, contested over seven rounds across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. With multiple cars across three categories (Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGTE Am) all on track at the same time, the WEC is a sports car extravaganza that offers action, overtakes, excitement and entertainment for fans worldwide.

@@griffinfaulkner3514they came 5th in fastest overall for GTE pit stop, which is still an amazing feat considering they used hand jacks and the GTE cars have mechanical..

Never watched an endurance race before the 24 hr Le Mans. I watched becaused I love NASCAR and after that race, I am hooked on it! Real fun to watch and am thankful they allowed NASCAR to participate!

Welcome along! Endurance racing is incredible. Perfect to put on the TV for a whole day and either watch intently, have on in the background while you do other things at home, or completely zone out to with a hangover... like I did 😋 It's surprising how the two racing disciplines have so much in common. I have been getting back into NASCAR over the last two years and I really dislike the stage format of its races. If they just let the race play out naturally, things like the Daytona 500 would have more of an endurance feel again.

@@DJChappie001 nascar is becoming fun this year. with all those non oval tracks they aded it will be fun to watch if i manage to catch it. europeans dont exactly stream all nascar races on tv so im stuck with a ppw or youtube.

I want to say 2023 is a rebirth of sports car racing. With the prototypes from IMSA allowed to compete in WEC, the new LMDh and Hypercar entries (with more coming!), the hype and success around Garage 56, the GT race being a dogfight until the very end, Hypercar being a crazy battle all 24 hours... While it is sad that GT2/GTE is going away (SRO GT2 is a weird thing I'm not talking about that), hopefully a united GT3 class will bring more cars to grids.

I don't speak French otherwise I'd say something nice but I'm glad even Europeans enjoyed seeing a Nascar because it's always portrayed as being slow or bad racing but this proved that if they wanted they could have actual competition for road cars

let's remember that barn door wing was put on it voluntarily by the team. they didn't have to as theyre considered an 'experimental' class. with minimal drag/ downforce it was bumping into the lmp1/hypercar

Next season, Ford will enter the Endurance Race with the new next gen stock car. Could be Dodge, Toyota & Cadillac will follow suit after Chevrolet's Le Man's success?

Sort of.... Ford Performance has a GT3/GTD program for the Mustang. They will be competing in IMSA and the WEC for 2024, which includes a LeMans run with the current CEO of Ford Motor Company Jim Farley.
