One thing I noticed with this footage is the the car actually jumps up a tiny bit because of the bumps on the straightaways and heading into the turns just like real life Auto Club

I preordered the game today, and even though there aren't any caution replays, the small details in the game just add so much to it, like I like how the cars bounce in the straight aways like they're going over small bumps. The game looks extremely promising, and I think it'll be a huge step up from Heat 3.

Also look at the bumps. Very characteristically accurate for Auto Club, that's my home track and the cars sail around the bumps roughly. Nice feature from 704 👍

I don't know if they will change it. But they still haven't animated that speed radar thing outside turn 1 at the track. Wish when the caution comes out the car doesn't jerk like that(before hitting the wall).

Very nice. I like how the cars car kinda bounce on the bumpy racing surface. One thing that should be fixed is the AI taking over your car when the caution comes out.

Yooooooo, they actually make the cars bounce on the backstretch like in real life!!!!!!!! Also the apron glitch is 100% gone, in real life if you're on the apron for 5 seconds nothing will happen, but if you are on it for 10 seconds, it upsets the cars balance, and you get loose.

At 0:53, that is a realistic wreck. Byron sat on the apron for a good 2-3 seconds and slid up the track, instead of touching it and the car just snapping around immediately. Love it

It's all amazing! However, I want the camera to follow the back of the car when it spins out, like at 0:54. Just for a sense of speed and danger. But right now, forget it! I am such a fan of the sound in this game. I'm pretty sure I heard the springs of the cars here and there.

Idk, love ur videos man. You’re on point. This game looks and sounds amazing. The bumps and the car bouncing around especially going into turn 3 is amazing, that makes a huge difference for me cuz that’s what you see on tv. Huge plus! Down side to what I noticed but it could also be the settings for the driving aid. He got into cars and when they got into him he should have spun across there nose and instead the ai spun, I didn’t like that. Also another down that I thought would be better is the tire wear. He was on old tires and slipping and sliding, great make it difficult to handle. But we’re the ai on newer tires??? Why weren’t they blowing by him? They should have ran right by him if his tires are that worn and they have new tires,

One thing I noticed is they didn't fix how the game slams you into the wall if a caution comes out and you're not in the racing line.

I knew 704Games will improve their future games, and this one is no exception! NH4 looks so fantastic! However as the game looks great so far, I wish they had caution replays. I wonder if they improved their post race replays

Some take aways: - Apron still seems deadly - The Collison model is much better and it seems that the ping pong is finally gone. When he came down on Bubba, it spun Bubba to the inside. In Heat 3, this would have been a ping pong death with the player getting shot to the outside - The cars look bumpy on the back straight which is pretty cool - AI don't appear to DNF or pit for damage. When he spun the 00, the 00 came up and collected Logano and others but none of them pitted for damage. - However, it did seem like the 00 lost a lot of speed from the damage judging by the restart after the crash. - 704 should get rid of the speedo during burnouts, it looks goofy seeing the speedo read 105 mph when you're doing donuts - Speaking of burnouts, I feel that the smoke is too dark and not white enough - Tyler Reddick's scheme is the Tame the Beast scheme he's ran in Xfinity, not the Symbicort scheme - The game still tries to snap your back to the track when a caution comes out, really don't like that. Just let the car gradually come up or let the player have control under caution. - The caution at the end with 2 to go makes me think those scripted cautions are back again, I just hope we can adjust the frequency of them because they happened way too much in Heat 3. - Transparent strip on spoilers. Seems like they're not tall enough though. Edit: Some Camaros have the updated taillight decals, but Byron does not. Kinda nit picky but another thing I noticed.
