Nr 2003 should've been #1 because of its replay ability and the ability to mod whatever you want into the game. Nascar 04 was the greatest console game of all time.

Also a big fan of adjusting the ai on each track. I loved making every ai 4 wide with a slight bump in speed, makes for amazing gameplay

Dude 06 was my favorite by far. It had so many features and extra tracks and modes. And you could even swap between any of the drivers on your team. I remember constantly swapping to kyle busch just so i could wreck him😂😂

IMO NASCAR Thunder 2002 is the best. I believe it’s the one with Tony Stewart on the cover. This game shined in legend difficulty and taking all the assist off. I would spend hrs getting the perfect set up to pick up a 10th of a second on the track. Great great fun.

I have NTG IL and I can say that it’s a good game to play. I loved the many paint schemes for all drivers and sponsors in career mode.

Nascar 2004 is just nascar 2003 but with nascar 2006s features. It is undoubtedly the best game. my friend grew up with 2003 and i grew up with 2004 and when i showed him 2004 he said he wished he had that one

Gotta say that NASCAR Heat 3 might be the best NASCAR Videogame for 7th generation consoles. That game is amazing, those realistic crashes, lighting and that resolution. NR2004 is also good, you can mod everything you want.

Something you forgot to mention on NASCAR 15 was the AWFUL glitches on PC. My version is unplayable because I can’t see any text, and no paint schemes show up on track.

CJ Nemetz not to mention the glitches on Xbox as well. When I did a career mode, I ran 50% races, but about halfway or even further a caution would come out but the game would break and not go to the replay, which tbh was kinda dumb

Not a big fan of 2005 CFTC or 06 TTC because if you go too low your car can slip on the apron :-( But I saw Thunder 04 coming because that is the Magnum Opus of Nascar games.

It sucks that these games are so focused on casual play these days considering how many people out there have wheel/pedal sets. The popularity of sim racing has grown yet we can’t even get a FOV setting in the newest NASCAR games.

Nascar racing should be first hands down and 2004 in second. Nascar racing 2003 had awesome graphics and racing. I could pick that game back up at anytime and spend hours with it . Nascar thunder 04 just had a wicked career mode. I guess it depends if you want arcade fun or sim fun

Even tho Gran Turismo & Forza aren't full NASCAR games per say both of them had some great game play Gran Turismo 6 was one of my favorites to play online, we had a group that used to play nightly at Daytona with commentary by a drunk guy named Steve O NC he had some KZfaq videos years ago that I can't seem to find anymore

NASCAR 2005 is the best game ever relased for consoles. Why? First to feature the Busch Series, awesome Production Cars, and Fight To The Top is awesome! '06-'09 are basically ports of '05.

I race on a 100% laps so I don't have time for any extra features. All I have time for is racing. Which is why NR 2003 is the best nascar game of all time, besides iRacing, in my opinion.

I have to disagree. Nascar Racing 2003 by Papyrus should be the #1 of all time. My top 5 1. Nascar Racing 2003 by Papyrus 2. Nascar from Dirt to Daytona 3. Nascar Thunder 2004 4. Nascar 2015 5. Nascar Racing 1994 ps1

As someone who owns both, i would put Dirt To Daytona over Inside Line. Of course there is 4 different cars bs 1. Dirt to Daytona has better physics. In Inside Line you can just wall ride. The challenges in Inside line suck. Aaaand nothing is better than the unlockables in DTD

Are the NASCAR Heat games really that bad that at least one doesn't even get an honorable mention? I thought NASCAR Heat 4 was pretty solid. Still good, but not as great as the EA NASCAR games. Also, I always found NASCAR 06: Total Team Control very underrated. I always felt it was always overshadowed by its older brother NASCAR 2005 and its younger brother NASCAR 07.

q455frodomar Nascar heat 3 sits right there with terrible physics , lack of customizations , lack of track control and bad AI. I’ve not seen a lot of changes since Heat evolution besides graphics.

Where is Nascar Racing 4 and 2003? They were the best PC games for simulation. The EA sports games were fun console game but no realism. And you didnt mention anything older than 2003. Nascar 2000/99 were still great. And I still go back to Nascar Racing 2 50th anniversary edition as it was the first game with a paint shop.
