NASCAR Heat 5 is the 5th version of the NASCAR Heat franchise. Heat has been known as the official game of NASCAR and features the real paint schemes, tracks and drivers of NASCAR's top series.
Players can recreate the NASCAR world in single player races, career mode working up their ladder as well as multiplayer against the world.
In this video Shaun Cole of The Simpit takes you through the game and talks about its most important features in this full review of the game.

No FOV adjustment = play on chase cam with a pad for me. And playing like this and embracing all the arcadyness, I actually like the game.

A very good review, but you misspoke about the career mode - you don't have to start your career with the modified. You can start with any of the four series.

Let me just say, the pit stops are also done in multiplayer in league races (If some of you do leagues...), under a manual caution (And a manual caution is similar to iRacing's caution in some sort of sense, but without a pace car/pace truck...), manual cautions in league races helps a whole lot and it is a great suggestion for those starting league racing. Overall, pretty good review video on NH5, looking forward to watching more videos in the coming future.

You are wrong about it being the only game that has the real NASCAR driver and tracks. NASCAR Racing 2003 Season is still alive and strong. It also has way more paint schemes and tracks, and actually has all the drivers. Even Kyle Larson lol.

Manuel Caution driving with a minimum and a maximum speed limiter as well as a manual Pit Road driving or garage mode with the same speed limiter would be pretty cool I would love for them to come out with a console Sim version of any racing game whether it be Formula 1 or Nascar or IndyCar I truly wish and hope and pray for 704 games that they will have the ability to have competition with iRacing even though it's going to be a really long stretch I believe that if they have the abilities they can make a semi simulation video game for us prosim Racers for console

To be honest, I don't think the Simpit crew will be racing this game. The feel of the stock cars and dirt cars in iRacing are vastly superior to this game. This game is for those that can't afford to run iRacing and are happy to race on a console based game. It's good for what it is.
