While showing the full stream is great, you also end up with all that dead time that happens during both red flags: the 90 minute one during repairs to the ARMCO barrier for the Ryan Newman-Michael McDowell crash at the exit to the Boot, and the shorter one for Denny Hamlin hitting the sand barrels at the entrance to pit road.

I have a dvr so I won't need to come to KZfaq for the races I missed but this is a great thing if they keep doing it.

Last time I saw a car destroyed like McDowell's was Mike Harmon at Bristol in 2002. Not quite as severe but pretty close
