They can't. Current ownership clause states that sanctioned professional racing series' are barred from the track. Pretty much the Nazareth issue again.

I don’t think these were “start and park” cars. Back then a few teams did that if they had to but nobody set off to park it from the jump. I remember Morgan shepherd being the first one to really do that

I love how awkward the commentary is every time a start and park hits the track because most of the time the commentators know little to nothing outside of what’s on paper about them so there’s not much to say

17:52 LMAO...Jeff Burton's about 22-seconds slower than the pole speed and he didn't even compete at Pikes Peak in 2003.

i loved this track......... still don't know how it didn't get a cup race and or last long. i mean u can't really use the excuse non exciting racing. though a couple went nearly caution free. purvis one one i think that had an early caution th en went caution free. the year harvick ran the double in 01, there wasn't many cautions either and he got to third with littarlly no help from cautions. (had to start at back because someone else qualified the car) had good racing but oh well. i hear its not there any more
