Even though the code is harder, I feel like it rewards the better gymnast. For instance Produnova never won an Olympic gold on vault even though she was clearly the best vaulter.

@moopoo66 I'd say beam and floor althoygh Shawn does have better scores she was more risky and had potential for disaster on those events (especially on the whip-over to triple twist, she was out of control on this)

This way a great routine up until the dismount. (Thats obvious. ....im aware) I just hate how the code has become. With gymnasts doing a lot of difficulty, but it looks awful. Example: Mykayla Skinner. Absolutely awful.

No, I didn't say that, like, say a gymnasts had the ability to do a 2.5 yurchenko vault, but the execution was terrible getting at least 8 tenths in deudctions, then someone who does a double twisting yurchenko gets with 3 tenths in deductions deserves to win. Just because you have the ability to do all the hard pirouette skills like nastia, does not mean she executes them well. She executes them poorly her legs are spererated on almost every skill...
