Sounds like music to me! I cranked my 66 Fairlane GT with open headers on a 390 with 3 deuces at 11 at night, and took it for a 100 mile drive. Mom like to had a fit, but my dad was out there helping. She said "What will the neighbors say?" Nobody said a thing. That was 1974. I had a cam that was as lumpy as his sounds, but no blower. According to Crane, it wasn't streetable, but.........

Dude, I have to say your Coop-Zilla build is nothing short of incredible. The Zoomies look great and the flames early set it off. This video definitely gets two thumbs up and put a huge smile on my face!

Hey Ron, this video must be somewhere around 7 years old at least, and I couldn’t count how many times I’ve played it just to listen to your engine and admire the car. The zoomies really add to it. Definitely in my top five favorite engines to listen to. Makes me smile every time.

Yeah boy,,,I've watched you're videos many times and it never gets old,that's a beast of a Hot Rod you built there,Great Job!!I'm sure the neighbors love you,Ha Ha,..My ex land lord used to have a fit when I'd start up my Oldsmobile{not pictured} I have a 69 Cutlass with a fresh rebuild on the 350 Rockett,{built by Teague Racing}it has a big 520 lift cam and some other goodies,needless to say it hits a pretty wicked lick,Hooker headers with 3 inch exhaust pipes about 3 foot of that ,no mufflers yet,Ha Ha,.I recently moved back to my home town where needless to say I was always in trouble with the law around here in this car,I've owned for 37 years by the way, what can I say,they love me,,now I have a Sheriff living behind me through the woods about 50 yards from my baby,roll out the red carpet boys Willie is back in town!!! You gotta love it!! As long as I fire it up before 10pm theres nothing he can do,I'll send you some pics,maybe start my own channel,post some video,who knows,Be Cool and Be Safe,Love that Coupe!!

Awesome rod, cool flame job , really hate to rag on such a bad ass rod but if that scoop was gone it would be an incredible rod. Scoop does not go with that car and unfortunately detracts from an otherwise great rod, but hey if you own it and you like it ya gotta keep it. Open zooms are bad ass to.

Nice looking ride.. You know it never fails me, you see a beautiful car like this roll out , and a 7' tall due crawls out! The only grip i have is those damn giant Booger Nostrol air intakes. They are ugly and obscure your vision horribly and I sure don't think the enhances performance at all In fact most guy dyno with open venturis, and then have a set of screes that screw into the flutes. I also dont care for the crappy little toy that has been very poorly mounted and has already ruined the pain. If toy clean those two things up, may hang some sheet metal over the motor, I think you could take first in every event Nice Job

@ListlessSpectre5 жыл бұрын
Man's got a point...that's how customs and rats have their own categories. Rats are typically patina laden buckets of salvaged shit turned into a hot rod. Customs are typically trailer queens that have $100K into them that are so clean, you can eat off em. This is a custom...nothing rat at all about it.

While I don't care for the car either I can appreciate the workmanship, the thought, science and fabrication that got it to where it is today. Just your not liking the offering is no reason to disrespect the talent that went into it. Take it for what it is, another person's interpretation of what he saw in his minds eye at the start and built, for himself.
