Flip side to Nat's 1954 release 'Easter Sunday Morning' which I have previously posted.
'This Can't Be Love' was written in 1938 by Rogers and Hart for the musical The Boys From Syracuse, where it was sung by Eddie Albert and Marcy Westcott.
Backed by the great Nelson Riddle it was included in his 1955 album Nat King Cole Sings For Two In Love, Riddle included an instrumental version on his album Nelson Riddle - Interprets Great Music Great Films Great Sounds in 1964.
Over the years it has been recorded by many of the greats, Natalie Cole included it on her album Unforgettable ....With Love a tribute album to her dad.
