@vanillabean Storyline: Esmeralda saves Gringoire, the poet from being killed. They become friends. The priest Frollo is mad about Esmeralda and attempts to abduct her. Phoebus saves Esmeralda and they fall in love. At Fleur's betrothal party, Esmeralda realises Phoebus is promised to Fleur. When Esmeralda leaves, Phoebus rushes after her. Jealous Frollo stabs Phoebus, but Esmeralda is accused of the crime and sentenced to death. Phoebus arrives and Esmeralda is saved. They promise eternal love.

@baja0270 Sorry, I can't. On the 9th October there will be a Live HD Broadcast of the Bolshoi's Esmeralda in cinemas around the world. After that, there will probably be a DVD release. Hope this helps.

After "Ballet music:a handbook " this variation was composed for the losted ballet of petipa "Kalbabino". After Ksessinskaya interporated this in la Esmeralda. Sorry for my english
