When the *"White Lilies Island"* album had just come out, I was part of an internet forum run by Natalie's manager... One day in December 2001, I asked the guy if she had written this song as a response to the attacks of September 11 that had just happened a few months ago... He told me that he didn't see it that way but he would still ask *Natalie...* Days later, she answered me and told me the following: "in these difficult times , I understand your perception of my song and, although I can tell you that it was not the original intention with the guilt I wrote it, if I relate it to that day... as you say it... hugs and kisses for you, Natalie" 😔❤ I was only 14 years old and I was moved that she responded to me and that marked me.

She is doing it her way,, not going to let industry burn her out and work her nonstop.. she is definitely stopping to smell the roses.. she has a habit of taking a long break then coming out with a great record.
