That goes beyond just the 2D show. I don’t think that show ever mentioned that Dooku gave Grievous Sifo Dyas’s saber, but I think that was canon (or at least it was before TCW retconned it with the season 6 episode where Plo Koon finds Sifo Dyas’ saber buried in the sand at his ship’s crash site).
