Good job on getting the episode up on time ladies! An interesting fact about French snacks is that they become German snacks with very little effort.

A fun video. Congratulations on getting it posted. My shop used to carry those suckers. Haven’t stocked them in years. The citrus flavors are very pronounced. Two other tasty ones were the caramel and milk candy. Cheers!

We did it!!! Hopefully this editing issue gets solved soon. The suckers we're great! Is the shape a French thing?

@@NatalieandTara I don’t know if it is strictly a French thing. Hmmm, maybe to use as a method of eating Brie cheese?

Enjoyed this video. It made me hungry so I’m going to have a snack now. Also, I spotted the pineapple.

another great vid.. I remembered and wasn't hungry before watching, in fact I was eating a steak chimichanga.. but I still want to try those snacks. Oh and I think "goût" is flavor in this case.

Your French translation is spot on - it means flavour or taste.

The 2 snacks you didn't like are from south of France (Provence) and have ingredients in common, and are parts of the tradition of Christmas' "13 desserts". The first is Calisson d'Aix (Aix-en-provence), and the 2nd is the nougat (Montélimar)... Even if I live near to Aix-en-Provence, I prefer and like a lot the nougat. But like many of traditionals products, you have the real traditionals products, which are really good, and some copy/industrial products which are not so bad, to really, really bad. So, come to south of France, to taste traditional nougat and Calisson, and then, make you a real opinion of these "snacks". And maybe, you can change you mind, and like them... Or not...

I don't think I ever owned jelly sandals as a kid... but I do remember friends and classmates having them. Can only imagine how uncomfortable they were. Loved the reactions to the lollipops! Can't say I've skipped down the road with one in my mouth. Knowing my luck I'd trip and face plant and end up with said lollipop through the roof of my mouth and need it surgically removed! 😅

Uggg jellies, the mistake of so many a young girl. We'd def trip and need surgery. But then.... we're Americans. ha!

It is VERY feet-y. After a month in France I kinda grew to dislike it... you'd think the opposite but it was a bit like too much blue cheese. A little goes along way. ~Tara
