CORRECTION ON THE VIDEO: So, I'm not sure if ND meant the new formula is the Highlighter, shimmering shadows in the eye section or both. 🤷‍♀️But, The formula is different in the eye section, it's similar to a few shadows in the Retro, such as Glitz & Psychedelic, but those shadows in the Retro are more crumbly and don't apply near as well as these do. However, it could be the same formula, but they sure feel different 🤷‍♀️ I'll ask around and let you know, but regardless, the formula is ON POINT. lol. Lots of beautiful shine that looks amazing and that's all that matters. Haha😁😁

The highlighter and the eyeshadows are both new formulas. I already bought the dark palette and waiting for the light palette to hopefully come back on Sephora to purchase it also.

I believe it says on the back of the carton of each pallet that the blush SHOULD NOT be used anywhere but the cheeks. Sounds like a disclaimer from ND, but since you made the recommendation to use it in the eye, I figured I would point that out just in case. Thanks for this review! This has been super helpful to me to see you use one pallet on each side of the face to compare!

I ended up going with both. I like the idea of a lighter brighter face in the Spring and Summer and richer tones in the Fall and Winter. Or at least that’s what I’m telling myself to justify purchasing both. 😂

Great review, Tara! Both palettes look great on you! I was leaning towards the dark palette because of that beautiful copper shade, but those icy shades in the light palette really brighten up the eyes! I think I prefer the blush in the dark palette for myself, and both highlighters are gorgeous. Decisions, decisions!

I picked up the light pallette first then went back for the dark after seeing reviews. I think I like the blush better in the dark and the eye shadows in the light. Glad I was able to get one on sale at Sephora.

Rewatching since I finally got both the light and dark palettes during the Sephora sale. I’m light skin right now, I prefer the dark one. I just need a dark/deep shade. Surprisingly the highlight works better for me in the dark. So weird the light one had a very distinct light cast on my cheek. But they are both very nice palettes. You are spot on about saying to pick light or dark depending on which eyeshadows you want! Great video!

I’m a shade lighter than you are, but have the same undertone as you. At 1st, I thought the dark palette would be better on me, but now I’m leaning more towards the light one, those shimmers! I can add more depth with the dark color in my mini nude palette, if I have to. Thanks for this amazing, thorough review on these!

My Goodness, ND is churning products out, one after another atm! And you're working incredibly hard having to keep up, I mean 3 hours doing swatches, definitely equals "commitment" - Then you've got the added time of putting everything away!!!! R E S P E C T! Okayyyyyyyy, I wasn't going to bother getting one of these, however, having seen this vid, I've changed my mind 🤪. I really want to experience the shimmery shades.
