Natasha , you forgot the most important ingredient that not only makes the real taste correct but is the thing that makes it possible to fold the bottom of the bowl , Warm Refried Beans smeared across the whole bottom which spikes the taste but also makes the very bottom pliable to be able to fold it up & eat the rest like a sandwich ..... Otherwise you make one Helluva Taco Salad ..... Thanks for sharing this Recipe Technique with us ......🌮🌮🌮🌮👍👍👍🖐

@@lovism6590 Weelllllll , that's one opinion ...🤗🤗🤗 Buuttttt, correct or not ??? We all know how changing the basics of something ( what it's actual roots are ) " Analogy " Coke changed the color of Coke to Clear , something that didn't even change it's taste one bit unlike the absence of refried beans does , immensely , the whole world tried it but could not in good conscience accept it & by the hugest majority fluffy rejected it & Coke rethought this huge faupau & returned wholeheartedly & fully dropped this folly & went back to Caramel colored Coke ...So if changing the basics (the Roots ) of a Taco Salad especially the basic flavor is your thing just don't expect everybody else to jump on & ride your bandwagon , sorry ...Mexican food should taste like Mexican food . What would you think if someone decided Asian food should be altered to taste like Swedish Meatballs ??? No , that would be as Wrong as your view on keeping what makes Mexican taste Mexican ... Enjoy your not so Mexican Salad ...Oh , I mean your Salad in a Taco shell that is ...🤗

Something fresh just popped out on my screen, which is literally this! They sell lots of good tacos in San Diego, which is where I live. I love how you put it in the taco shell bowl instead of ordinary one. It's impressive to see how you rectified the salad ingredients. Indeed they have beef. You should add the white sauce. Natasha, do you know what? I'm frenetic about watching this video tomorrow! Hope you and your kids are tuning in for summer season 🌞Your kids are pretty nice. You should let them try your salad. I usually add a laddle of refried beans underneath the shell, it kept it from sliding and its great when you eat the shell.

This looks so good! A note on taco meat: I add a bit of olive oil, fry some onions in it and then toast some garlic and then add lean ground meat like 93/7 or 90/10 cook it up. I do not drain the fat. And when I add the taco spices (after the meat is almost browned) I make a little well and fry them a bit in the fat. Indians are always frying their spices and it’s key. I tell ya. Ppl be asking for my taco meat recipe all the time. It’s good. Would go great with this salad!

Love tacos as much as you do 🤤🤤🤤 On my taco salads love the combination of fine chopped tomatoes with finely chopped red onion and red peeled pepper with a sprinkle of cumin 🤤, lots of grated cheddar cheese, and avocado (if I have it) and crunchy taco strips and sour cream drizzled over it 🤤🤤🤤🤤

A lot of times I skip the meat and just go with a healthy helping of refried beans. And if I'm feeling energetic I make mexican rice to go inside. My favorite protein is chicken fajita with beans. Yum 😋 A lot of iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, guacamole and sour cream. If I'm out of sour cream a small drizzle of a good buttermilk ranch will work. This is why i like the refried beans. I make them a little loose, then they help make it so you really don't even need dressing. Better believe I'm going to try your dressing though 😋 I had already made the announcement, that we were going to be eating a lot of salads this summer. Taco, tostada, crab, shrimp, and my son wants Waldorf salads too. Maybe a few ambrosia salads thrown in a time or two. Thanks for the recipe love. ❤

I need to get your book. I like your recipes. We used to make taco salads years ago(20+years ago) we made it with kidney beans in it but I'm going to use gabonzo beans(❤) to add in with the meat.
