To make them a little festive you can add some peppermint extract and crushed candy canes to it. They are so yummy and perfect for Christmas.

Hi saw Sharky twice @ 3:50 then at 7:28 - Love seeing the kids get invited in to assist. This is definitely a holiday treat.

I make mine with one stick of butter, 7 cups cereal and half a jar of marshmallow fluff along with a bag of marshmallows. Never have tried sea salt or vanilla. Sounds yummy. Never thought to use plastic and oil the cutting knife.

I've made these twice between April and May. Never making them a different way. These are fantastic!

This is how we make these! But we've been know to use a chocolate crispie cereal and even a fruity crispie cereal. Sooo good!

I made these just now! With the christmas crispy cereal and red sprinkles! I'm sp glad i used the unsalted butter and the added sea salt... ypu can definitely taste the bits of salt throughout. So good!!❤❤❤

Hey, Natasha. Perhaps you can make a fudge recipe? I've been looking at a lot of Velveeta cheese fudge recipes, so I guess that's something you guys can try. And before you ask, no it doesn't taste like cheese. The Velveeta simply helps the fudge set up, makes it very creamy, and gives it a bit of saltiness. Nobody would guess that cheese is in the fudge. I would recommend you guys try it.

Looks fantastic Natasha (and family). I like to do a variation I thought I'd share: I use golden grahams (instead of rice krispies) and mix in some chocolate chips. Basically making s'mores treats. 😋

I love RK treats. I can remember making them as a girl. I don't wait for Christmas as they are year round treats. S bucks sells them if you want a quick fix. I goggled to see when they were created (1939). Natasha I watched this just to see you guys have fun, but you really made them even better! Adding those extra marshmallows at the end yummy.
