Laps on laps on laps with James Weingarten in the Vail Bike Park. It has been far too long since I have done laps on a proper DH rig. Dusted off the ole' Yeti SB165DH for your smashing pleasure. These park laps are definitely helping the void left in my heart by the Canadian border being closed. The Whisdrawls are real. I miss Whistler. #followcamfriday hacking holes on small wheels.

Ha ha, I slid down Old Nine Line on a hardtail about 20 years ago. Vail was the first time I'd ever encountered a berm and didn't know what to do with it. It was only about 2 ft. high and it befuddled me. That dual crown would have been a handy tool. This brought back such fun memories, thanks for posting. I could show you the video but I think we were filming in about 240p back then. My gosh, I'm so old!

After hitting Trestle two weeks ago, this looks like the perfect raw trail complement to that fantastic day of breaking bump arm pump shredding. Would love to ride Vail someday!

Hills these places need to pay you/ sponsor your vids. I didn't even know Vail had DH trails a week ago. Today I went and had a blast. Old 9 line in the mud is tons of fun!

Like the Vail video, I thought they said no bikes on the gondola this year, but clearly they updated that. Vail does not have a lot of trails, but a few solid ones and a nice change from say Trestle. Thanks Nate! #whistlerWithdrawl #borderIsClosed #TheyDontWantUs

Awesome and super stable video, what's your camera setup? Can see your hands and bike shaking a lot but image is super stable. Have a GoPro on the chest and it does the stabilization or something else?

Great riding as always! Wondering....never heard much recently about Vail's DH until this video. It looks nice. How would you say it compares to Angel Fire? I'd probably be willing to drive the extra to Denver for the available stuff for the family.

Less variety of terrain than AF. Less people too. Definitely worth a day.

Yes there are small, medium and large jump lines. I was there last weekend and the large jump are way too big for me!

This was most likely before that. I was up there two days ago and it was super smokey. Its also possible the wind was going the other direction, sometimes that just makes it completely clear outta nowhere.
