I've always had an affinity to horses. But never had the chance to own one. I don't know how ride a horse. On two occasion I slide off the horse because I never learn to ride. Yet, my love and respect in me is deep for the horse. I once had a chance to see horses in the wild in Northern Nevada. I just love see them run wild.

I kinda have to laugh at how people talk when referring to natives. They Talk about how we are not gone, but act like they are giving a eulogy. Its important to speak of any culture with respect, however we are not gone we are not dead our culture, kids, traditions new and old, homes, lifestyle is still very much alive. I laugh anyway...(speak somberly) people (pause look down) talk of native people (pause, bow head) like we are dead..... How's them 1491 guys do!?!!??! Honor song!

Native americans had a practice that each person was raised and given the opportunity to succeed and be a good member and productive member of their society. Each given jobs and task based on their needs and capabilities, in comparison to today's age you most can't even afford a mode of transportation or vehicle, however back then every person had their own horses, jobs, houses or huts, were knowledgeable about self-sustainability. I'd say we disconnected from the true purpose and task given to us in which is to provide security for the people, in whatever means is necessary. Capitalism has ruined so many things in this country it's such a shame

I have a theory that the Native Americans were originally from Arabia. Look at a map of Pangea and see how the continents used to fit together. See where northern Africa fits into the US? Now compare how the Arabs 'trill' just like the Native American. The western tribes were nomadic, living in tipis ( tents for Arabs) and the fringes on the garments. Horse culture for both. What do you think?
@Wildman-lc3ur
@Wildman-lc3ur 2 жыл бұрын
Native Americans didn't originate in Arabia They originate in siberia and crossed the bering land bridge into Alaska 70,000 years ago with a possible second wave arriving 13,000 years ago. Native Americans share very similar DNA to that of east asians

You don't need to whip the poor animals if you know how to ride and are experienced. Hurting them shows (Not in the case of the video, I mean in general) that you don't have a clue what you're doing

Brendan Morin -I am SO impressed by your age! To think that we have an EYEWITNESS to that distant era amongst us! There are so many questions that paleontologists must want to ask you! P.S.-bone count in a site does not equate to extinction of a species. The plains bison was hunted too, and it was not until the Sharps buffalo rifle that near-extinction of the plains bison occurred-motivated by the desire to eliminate the plains Native American tribes.

"...then we draw the blood out of the heart... why did we do that?" That's all you need to know about the credibility of this individual. She drank blood from the heart of a freshly-killed animal without first asking why it ought to be done at all. This is blind worship of the "noble savage" myth. It's uncritical adoration.
