Nathan Airchime P3 Recordings. New Cast

12 жыл бұрынRecordings of another new acquisition. This time from you tube user Mafranz. A ex Union Pacific new cast P3. The two bell is reversed in this recording. While most people think old cast is the way to go. I personally like the NC P3 and the OC P5. While the OC P3 and NC P5 are the bad sounding ones to me. Just my personal opinion. Enjoy the sounds.

Definitely my favourite, it’s like a distinctive childhood, memory from my past! I believe CN & CP still have those horns.

That also sounded like a Saskatchewan Shortline Railroad, called OmnitTrax. Cuz they used to have those horns, back in the old days.

I bet you look on that horn and its a newer southern pacific horn. That's what my new cast p3 started out as. It had sptco On it and UPRR on the manifold as well.

I have a NC P5 but turned it into a P3 it sounds a lot better now. I know what you mean.
