That also sounded like a Saskatchewan Shortline Railroad, called OmnitTrax. Cuz they used to have those horns, back in the old days.

Love mine, they have an especially eerie sound on cold winter nights when it's snowing. The sound just carries different in those conditions.

Definitely my favourite, it’s like a distinctive childhood, memory from my past! I believe CN & CP still have those horns.

Well that’s interesting, that might be a relabeled 247 bell, it appears to be playing a B instead of the normal quarter tone between B and C of a 25 bell 247 bell’s were supposed to end up on and s5a’s or s3e’s, there is speculation that no 247 bells were produced because there were no s5a’s or s3e’s ever ordered, but mabee, just mabee, this is a 247 bell in disguise as a 25 bell.

F40 288 had a horn identical to that formula.
