It just broke my heart 😔 it reminded me of my best friend (it's even hard to say it now) how he left me entirely. We are living in the same small town, and we were so close and he was my safeguard. And he just decided not to talk to me 2 years ago after 5 years of friendship. I loved him so so much, he never replied to my messages only once some months ago when he said that he works too much and doesn't have time for friends. It was like he became a whole different person that I feel I never really knew. But shit I still miss him. I have fallen into depression and anxiety after he left me without a word back then and still feel lost.

I loved this! I know it's not news nor new for this day and age but I feel this so much. I have friends, my best friends, who I always have to talk to first and even then it is one line text and no face to face or deep conversations. I get so lost in my own thoughts without anyone to talk to I start going insane within myself feeling trapped and even start talking to myself sometimes. My mind usually feeling like a maze instead of an organized library. Just one thought after another usually crippling me further into a darker and darker space. I get left behind by the people I love most, the only people I have learned to love and I start even leaving myself behind. Trust me I am not one for spilling my guts but I thank you so much for this song!

I came across this song in 2021. Things were rough with a friend of mine who had moved into a dorm for our first year of college (I decided to live at home since it was better financially). They started talking to me less and cancelled plans quite a few times and then later would I would sometimes find out that they ended up hanging out with their college friends. They even did it to me on my birthday, made plans in advance then cancelled (told me they were tired) and hung out with someone else. This song really helped put what I was feeling into words. Whenever I was feeling down because of what was happening, I would put this on and either just listen or sing along. Thank you for all your hard work and great music!
