congrats to Walker, he made all the Australians fans proud no doubt, but my favorite part is the announcer's laugh at the end, he was so happy for him that he couldnt contain himself, i love it !

When Nathan Walker scored his 1st career NHL goal while at the Caps a few years back Australia’s then PM Malcolm Turnbull rung him up to salute the guy. I’m not expecting the current PM Scott Morrison to do the same after this sensational performance tonight!

I love how so often the third goal in a hat trick is the one that is hardest to tell the guy scored it. Always a deflection or some crazy bounce that the crowd needs a minute to tell.

You love to see it, especially since there aren’t even any players even from his country he is a rare guy and it’s good to see him do well

The previous times Walker has been called up his work ethic always impressed me. He’s the hardest working guy on the ice. Hard not to cheer for this guy!

Congratulations to Walker. Remember watching this live and feeling so good for him. What a story. I hope STL gives him an opportunity next season as a full time player on the squad.

As an Australian, it's sad how desperate Australians are to be recognised on the world stage. I remember a recent news article of Matt Damon (an "honorary Aussie") just being in a TAB. It's pathetic. PS: HE'S WELSH
