I love Palutena's Temple, New Pork City, and The Great Cave Offensive!

I love Norfair! Then again, it was the very first Smash Bros stage I played, so I could just be naturally attracted to it. Also, I like all large, sprawling stages, including Palutena's Temple.

At least there's no Icicle Mountain.

The chaotic-ness and largeness of The Great Cave Offensive is actually the reason why I love that stage.

The problem with the Mario Bros stage is that without hazards, it is really hard to kill someone until 250% but with hazards on you can die at 25% because those turtles do so much knockback

That lava map is actually really fun if u have actual friends to play with cause everyone is fighting to get into the little room that protects u from the wave it’s really funny and fun to play with friends

Am I the only one who likes great cave offensive? Granted the only reason I liked it was because me and my friends played a “slay the monster” type game on it. One player would be the monster, (999HP) and 7 other players (100HP each) would be on a ‘team’ trying to defeat the monster. The winner was the living player who did the most damage, unless the monster killed everyone.

Out of all stages that are "huge" I actually like Great Cave Offensive most. It's not one of my favorite levels, but it's still playable compared to Palutena's Temple, Temple from Melee, New Pork City and my most hated level: 75m. I also happen to enjoy the Kalos Pokémon League. It's actually one of my favorites of all time. So when that level was put on this list, you hurt my feelings.

Palutena’s temple is handsdown my favorite stage lol. It’s just sooo beautiful and it feels like a big home for Palutena.

Actually, I avoided the giant lava wall in Norfair as Ness by double-jumping, then using PK Thunder on myself. It worked. It also goes for Lucas, as well.

To be honest, I actually like hannenbow. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna run away before a pitchfork stabs me. Same for palutena's temple. The fact it's big is why I love it.

You can actually avoid the huge tsunami of lava in norfair, all you have to do is to jump until you in the out of bounds area at the top of the screen, which is a secondary safe spot for you if u can't get inside the tube that pops up. It also requires good timing as well

pac-maze definitely should've been brought back also i think 75m is worse than pac-land and the great cave offensive

1:45 I actually like Norfair because I can dodge the stage hazards and it is fun to watch the NPCs get destroyed by the massive fire wave in the distance

The one thing that absolutely pisses me off about 75M is that the UI/character portraits cover the bottom of the screen. With the platforms at the bottom of the stage being as narrow as they are, the decreased visibility is a huge pain in the ass

This list is only really for competitive players, as someone who plays both casual and competitively I find these stages really fun when playing casually, some like Mario Bros are actually my favourite casual stages. Most of these could be fixed simply by turning off stage hazards.

I’ve always thought of the 1-1 stage as a imagining of the 1-1 stage after years of being left alone since the game is 30 years old.

great cave offensive is one of my favorite stages of all time, and tbh, I love every stage and always try to make my gameplay as chaotic as possible

Is Palutena’s Temple too big? Yes. Is it worse than Mario Bros, Hanenbow, and Wily’s Castle? NO

Pac-Maze from the 3DS game only works on the 3DS due to local multiplayer. When a player touches a power pellet on this stage, it makes the ghosts vulnerable to touch... but only for them and it only changes their appearance on their screen, all the other players just see the ghosts as they normally are and can still get hit by them.

But the thing is, even the worst stages are fun with your friends. The chaotic nature makes even the worst stages fun.

Or, you know, you could just turn stage hazards off.

10. I think it's fun actually. I've had some of the weirdest hilarious things happen on that stage but yeah it's definitely not a good stage if your playing to compete. 9. I understand. This stage does have way too much going on. Definitely not one I go to often. 8. It's a fine autoscrolling stage. I do like the apocalypse style to it. I thought they were going for a fallout Mario esthetic stage. I think it's cool but definitely not representative of the original. 7. Yeah I tend to avoid this one... 6. Too much like pokemon stadium but it's not that bad. Definitely not worse than number 7. 5. Yeah it is too big but I think it has a lot going for it. I'm fine with it being in top 10 but top 5? This is my least favorite ever. I played this in ultimate for the first time and immediately hated it.... 2. Number 3 is worse. Pac land is not a good representative stage for Pac man but it's not that awful. Definitely worse than the apocalypse Mario stage though. 1. What? Really? I accually like the stage from #10 because I like to watch my opponents fly around when I do a powerful attack, and I just like the stage for how it looks

I think that was the point for Mushroomy Kingdom. They wanted it to look old and abandoned, reason being that it’s a level from the very first Super Mario Bros. game. They want it to seem like it was created such a long time ago that it just became old and dusty.

Who else is gonna recreate those stages on stage builder?

I can personally sympathize on the 75M stage. I remember scrolling through the levels at one point and seeing 75M and thinking, "This looks fun." It wasn't. Also, on Norfair, I somehow managed to escape the lava wave while playing as Bowser Jr. I did it by getting to the top of the stage and using my up special to get shot really high above the screen. I wouldn't recommend trying that though. I figured out it was definitely a well-timed glitch that didn't work the next time I tried it.

Great Cave Offensive is my favorite map tho...

Heres a tip for some of the stages: Turn off hazards Battlefield or omega forms
