1:00 The Dive Roll is one of the best additions to the Switch port! It can save you from death if you wall jump, turn around, and dive. You can basically use it to get onto a ledge where Mario would grab on if it were SM64.

I was able to get the third green star in 1-2 by (accidentally) doing it after falling off the final edge in the cave section. The most epic gamer moment in my time playing Mario; threaded the needle perfectly so I didn't take damage!

0:13-0:16 They actually had to remove the Propeller Platforms for a reason. The Propeller Platforms were controlled by blowing into the microphone, but because the Nintendo Switch does not have a microphone, they decided to replace them with regular lifts.

He should have also said that if you ground pound to stay underwater in Bowser's Fury you can avoid all of bowsers attacks. (Not when in Giga Mario or in the final battle)

Honestly, multiplayer connection has been surprisingly fine for me and the mid-air dive has been pretty useful

The mid air roll is my favorite movement thing thank you very much, it’s also kinda broken with anything but the tanooki because of the instant momentum and it lets you sacle walls you shouldn’t be able to without a power up

Rolling in the air is actually a really nice movement option. Spin twirl or ground pound jump, wall jump, roll dive towards the wall. Can get you in a lot of places if you don't have a cat bell
