NATI’s back & Amaury joins us in opening gifts!!

In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. KZfaq earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

I know this is a little late. I love how you donate to different charities every month. I've been watching you from the beginning and love all of you. I would like to put out a suggestion for this month to be fit the victims of the horrible earthquake in turkey/Syria. I am watching the news(in Oklahoma usa) and my heart is breaking. Over 12,000 dead. On our news it says donations can go through unicef, I do not know how it would work in France. Thank you for all you do, all of you. 💔❤️

Hi La Lander`s what you need to use for your mashed spud`s is a potato ricer, that way you dont have to painstakingly peel the small potato`s, you just put in your cooked spud skin on and squeezed the potato pulp through,it`s a larger version of a garlic press.

So many beautiful and thoughtful gifts. The stunning collection of paper napkins just scream to be used in decoupage. It’s so much fun to do and you have longer lasting memories of the gift of the napkins than using as napkins. The blue and white ones should be used to cover a tray and used in the kitchen or for breakfast in bed! Just a thought from Neil in Australia 🇦🇺

This is Grandma from Texas. We love all your boys at LaLande. You know, together y’all are extra special. Stephanie you are a lovely bright star on your own and we LOVE you. I’m so very happy that you share your loved ones with us I adore Phillip and the way y’all are with each other. Phillip is NO JOKE. He is witty handsome and talented in so many ways!! I have learned so much from him about table dressing. It must be wonderful never having to worry about the table EVER Phillip can create absolute perfection. Amaury is precious. Yes butter tarts so easy to make and very addictive you can make them as squares also Iam in southern ontario canada in a place called Sarnia at the lower end of Lake Huron part of great lakes ! Right across from Port huron Michigan usa ! It's amazing to be so close to another country can wave to them across the river watch ocean freighters going by our waterfront from around the world except for two months January and February as part of the lakes freeze over in the winter up north but by March sit at shore line at Sarnia Yatch club where Iam a member and watch this big ships go right by us ! Best view on all of great lakes to see the world go by literally with ships carry cargo from every where !

Be careful when receiving American seeds as we are heavily GMOed here and a heavy use of pesticides on our fields. I would hate to mix these up with your European seeds that are pure and virginal. Just a thought. Love your channel.

I am English but was brought up in Canada and have been back in England for many years. I laughed when you opened the cookbook with a recipe for butter tarts. I have had the same hairdresser, George, for 26 years. About 25 years ago he came to the house near Christmas and I was making butter tarts, which I do every year. I gave him one and ever since then I have had to make butter tarts for him at Christmas. I wouldn't dare turn up without them, who knows what he would do to my hair!!! They are just so delicious and if you do make them can I suggest that you are generous with the fruit and warm them before eating. You have made me want to make them now before my appointment in two days. Such memories.

Loved Amaury’s “mansplaining” the apple corer. ☺️ The release is for AFTER you remove the core from the Apple. The cylinder of the seeds and bits ~ an easy release No having to dig or try to push the removed core from the tool. 😉 The little spatulas are wonderful for inside jars.

A taste of Canada!! We eat and drink those maple items all the time! I live right on the shore of Lake Ontario, pronounced Ontaaario! I've heard the Niagara Mens Chorus, they are excellent. Bluetit = chickadee in Canada. I could have sent that box. Everything was familiar. Lovely.

We love these for when we want a single cup of coffee. In our family we call them "pour overs". We use water out of the electric kettle and it works great! (While traveling in September we left ours behind in an Airbnb and ordered one from Amazon delivered to our next stay!)

Thanks for such a fun evening! I'm curious if anyone else noticed the purple flashing light now and then? It happens several times starting at 13:02 and the longest time I saw at 20:27. It would be a perfect effect for a spooky Halloween episode!
