NATIONAL GALLERIES SCOTLAND - Two Amazing & FREE Things in EDINBURGH - Walking Tour | 4K | 60FPS

The National Galleries of Scotland consists of a series of galleries in the very heart of Edinburgh. In this tour, we concentrate on 2 of those galleries: The Scottish National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery. I recently took a curated tour around both, and was so impressed with them that I decided to film them so everyone can see how amazing they are.
Did I also mention that they are COMPLETELY FREE to visit? That's the amazing thing about it!

Thank you for taking me to this place! I can't believe such a wonderful place is open to the public for free.... There were several paintings that I had only seen on the Internet. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience!

The first time I walked into the portrait gallery I was absolutely blown away by that entrance hall. Been a few times now and I still spend more time there than in the actual galleries. Amazing. In the National gallery I always make a beeline for the skater, I know he’s kinda taken over the gift shop and is in danger of becoming a Klimt kiss, but for now just love him 🖤

This is such a beautiful gallery. Much like The National Gallery in London, it allows you to be close to the paintings. I won't wax lyrical too much but I really love the Macbeth by John Martin. I was always fascinated by his paintings. This is one I have never seen before. To have this tour is a real gift and I thank you so much for it.

Now this is amazing,,have always wanted to see inside the national galleries and its free..you cannot get better than that,,thank you for showing off things to do in edinburgh on a budget,,will be heading there in a few months for a trip i think. great day you filmed too.
