Recently I was experiencing extreme anger and it was really troubling and I started blaming things for my anger because people aren't angry at nothing. In fact I was planning on leaving my husband because I thought I was angry at him. You know what was causing my anger? Toxic black mold that was in our laundry room. I knew mold was bad for you and since I couldn't understand the anger I googled, "can mold cause anger?" And the answer came back immediately as Mold Rage. That's exactly what I was experiencing. We sealed off the room and no more rage. Scary shit.

Hugs. ❤ Trauma leaves bruises on our heart, mind, psyche. Healing the bruises requires reflection. Is it because you want something to happen? For instance, punishment of another? This is a sit down, decide if what you want is within your power to get. If not, let it go, and finalize that decision. If so, is it something you will go after and follow through to the bitter end…and would it be worth all your energy in pursuit? If not, let it go, and finalize that decision. You see, what happened to you might have been out of your control, but how you handle it going forward is fully in your control, and noone else’s. ❤

Anger can be a great power for change. There seems to be a need to process anger mindfully before there will be greater unity with faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When we process anger mindfully, we can then negotiate for wants and needs in the wisdom and strength of the Lord. These are steps I was taught that have worked well: 1. Write a private rough draft about our anger, fully, hold nothing back. Do this until we feel a deep cleansing sigh from deep in our soul. Write what is wanted, needed, and our goals. 2. Wait a time, take a break, time can vary (a few hours or a few days). 3. Go back and read it when calm and when we can hear the Holy Ghost (after prayer & scripture study... uplifting music can also help). 4. Improve: prayerfully edit it. Cross out unhelpful parts... re-word where necessary, be more clear. Sometimes processing & expressing anger can time and steps. Try to see things from other perspectives. Often, what people do is more about them and their history than us. 1. Forgive, including our selves. Anger can subconsciously be rooted in frustration with self. Begin repentance... with God’s help, forgive self, as often as needed. 2. If trust has been lost or damaged... and rebuilding it is wanted or needed, get to know the other party better (and / or self) better, try trusting a little at a time, as appropriate in steps, as it is honored. 3. When we process trauma like this, we can then Negotiate with the strength of the Lord.

I agree that anger has no place,... but I still get angry sometimes,.. its not wrong to feel the anger, it is wrong to react to it,.. if you try not to be angry it will build up and you will blow up emotionally, so feeling angry is ok, and being angry toward someone is less likely if you are not trying to avoid anger, but look forward to handling it in a more productive manner. Thank you Wally for reminding us of this lesson!

@@freelyb You speak of rage or uncontrolled and unfocused anger, like a flame set loose that lashes out and burns everything in its path till nothing is left, that is destructive and why people fear anger cause they cannot control their own emotions. Anybody can become angry-that is easy; but to be angry with the right person, and to the right degree, and at the right time, and for the right purpose, and in the right way-that is not within everybody's power and is not easy. Same, I struggle with anger, rage and contempt every day. I admit it. I was raised by the military since young age, boarding school. Constant yelling and punishment made me grow hurtful and angry. For years I've been trying to discipline myself. I meditate daily and try to practice detachment and complacency. We must stand alert at all times, the profane world brings our patience to the limits every day. It is hard to loose rooted habits, particularly anger/hatred and revolt/ressentment. I struggled it one time really harshly with anger. I grew up with a stepmother used to tell me to get angry. Don’t get depressed. Just get angry and then you are drinking and drugs and it didn’t help. I have done a lot to overcome Them processes. I have been bullied and provoked beyond all reasoning and I have maintained. I have been beat on physically beat on and didn’t take the action that was open to me to sincerely seriously hurts someone on multiple occasions. I have done a lot of work on myself, but I am dealing with people right now. That are just absolutely cruel, that are absolutely heartless and selfish and manipulative even saying I can feel the frustration within me. It’s terrible. These people are bullies they use their narcissistic, selfish behavior to try to push people like myself over the edge . I have seen and lived what anger does . My stepmother may God l the creator rest her tormented soul. Used to drink 30 to 60 cups of coffee a day and she would fly off the handle at any moment and I was a target of a lot of that a lot of addictive behaviors as well passive aggressive, crap . So I understand what agger can do. And I know, cause I’ve lived it and I’ve done it to myself. I never wish to go back there. 27 +years of sobriety a regular meditative practice a regular exercise practice my time in nature is the most fulfilling . I had a conversation with a guy the other day and a grocery store and a pizza parlor two different conversations and I left their feeling so wonderful because they were wonderful people. They were genuine. This type of people are hard to find these days. I just wanna be at peace . ❤

Voicing frustration and complaining is also weakness, however I don’t believe the Holy People want us to be self deprecating either. There’s an old expression I heard working in the trades that goes “it is better to be pissed off than pissed on“ this seems spiritual damaging. I suppose angry is a false way of defending against ridicule. It is difficult to understand why people find jolly and glee at the expense of others. I think that this fall into pecking order. At the root, (which may not be so easily recognized) Contention. I see sorrow, self pity, feeling bad about yourself, and bad for yourself as self depreciation. Asking or being open to suggestion in order to work together to solve and resolve is alway a better way to go. I’ll never take shame in a second look! Respect the referee!

@@freelyb arrogance seem to be a serious precursor to Anger. I always do my best to identify the arrogance as quickly as possible. It feels good to be as the trotting coyote. When we are able to distinguish this in our behavior we are able to realize its potential harm to our spiritual well being. There is a very important difference between confidence and arrogance. It seems lately it is a game to have those lines blurred. Arrogance to many in the business work seems to be a necessary tool to success and it is sickening! When people in power use Anger as a tool it isn’t simply shut down. It becomes a mechanism to create fear which is a next level connection to the evil one. This is very ugly and dangerous we know from the history.

@@freelyb we are imperfect, I think that everyone experiences lack of confidence. When you get in a roll let’s say, you have a good out come, things are going smooth and you aren’t thinking much on it this is confidence! This could be any venture you might be participating in. Sometime we have the feeling in us to praise ourselves, admire ourselves, make comparisons about what we do to what others do, the key is to just identify what it is and acknowledge that if it goes too far it has potential to limit our progress. It isn’t bad to have arrogance, in-fact went applied in a proper manner actually beneficial, what is important is to identify that it is arrogance and I know that it is arrogance. This spawns humility! I like my small win, it is good for me, it is a big aspect in my life however an very minutely, and subtly important part of a vastly larger system. A system in place to future the well being of humanity. I am happy that it is this way. It is small no matter the time, money, effort and or energy it takes. It becomes larger the more like minded individual are involved.

1:59 sometimes it's not our anger that destroys us as much as the stupidity of allowing something to go on that is wrong without bringing attention to it.... untill it has sickened our spirit, our vision and understanding of ourselves, our peoples and our purpose here on earth. The holiness of life itself is so precious and yet the young and old alike sacrifice what is good and meaningful for empty promises, ashes for trees, and hot air for a cool breeze- pink floyd I pray you are well Thank you for the medicine in your words My body is sick from the spiritual war But I have not turned to a devil by facing him. He is within each of us when we feed our darkness and sacrifice our light to survive the vultures as they pick what's left. I picked up oil to recycle from white river years ago and on my trip a red tailed hawk was surrounded by four vultures in the middle of the road. He was poisoned and saw his death and the vultures were waiting for him to die. I pulled my truck over to get him safely out of the road, and to protect him from the vultures. A man from the community saw what I was doing and he told me to be careful. I told him my father had been setting eagles free from traps since I was a boy. He picked up the hawk from behind and she let him carry her off of the road. He was a very good man, and you probably know him personally. If I could remember his name I would tell you. I pray that that your family is well and safe amongst the juniper and pines. Be well friend

I am speaking of that unique phase (in solitude!) that reminds me of who I really am and that little tantrum phase serves its purpose. Anger around people can be controlled with breathing so as to not infect anybody. Humans will, by necessity, evolve out of the anger/survival mode, don't hold your breath. Thank you Wally.

Righteous anger is based in loving correction, when wrongly subjected to another’s behavior that is hurtful emotionally, and or harmful to one’s well being it should only be addressed in a calm and respectful manner when dealing with a confrontation regarding the consequences of another’s actions that are not considered acceptable behaviors. If someone causes harm to another through their own selfish ego driven behaviors then it is ok to say no that wasn’t right and to be upset about it is within human nature, the issue becomes going to an extreme and embracing anger and hatred to a point it causes one to become unrighteous in their own actions dealing with it. Two wrongs do not make things right. Thank you for the message. God’s Blessings 🙏🏼🕊️

Funny that this has popped up on my feed. I have become angry and bitter, and I know if I don't let it go it will consume me. This has reminded me of the importance of doing so. Thanks.

This is a lesson about anger that people in our country and around the world need to hear and take to heart. Holding anger is as destructive to the person that holds it and lashes out in anger at others. It actually destroys the anger holder with bodily elements with too much Cortisol which can be a killer.

There are so many parallel beliefs between the Navajo and the Taun beliefs it seems supernatural!😊 From opposite ends of the earth they come, together yet separate.

Thank you for sharing this teaching. Within a family that was filled with anger, that’s all I knew. The journey out of anger is a long and arduous one and after seeing this I believe many generations to come will benefit from my choosing to release anger and hatred. This lesson was so helpful. Many blessings.

A man I knew, held anger resentment against something he felt had wronged him. The moment he died, I heard his voice clear as day, ask me to help his son, "find forgiveness in his heart". This has made me realize, when we pass, we must account for our actions in life. He destroyed his son with his hatred. Upon his death, his soul found it necessary to ask for help in gaining his sons forgiveness. Or perhaps an attempt to end that chain of emotion. That anger needed to die
