@@__M__Pik____ у меня мать шьёт, если сравнивать современные цифровые машинки, то эта отремонтированная машинка годится на антиквариат только . Токое впечатление, что это вы не шьёте , если бы шили то 3нали бы качество, плавность, удобство, функциональность и прочее упрощённые вещи и прилагающие к этому делу гаджеты. Да и к стате у меня такая же только с 60 года выпуска в гараже лежит в рабочем состоянии

@@XpucTo я и говорю, что вы не шьёте. Для информации. Современна- Электронная: до 50-60 тыс. можно даже не рассматривать. Пластик, облегчённые все как на подбор, из-за этого проблемы с моховиком и соответственно результатом. Строчки хорошие только вначале, дальше постоянная настройка. Шьёт только определенную толщину ткани. 100 миллионов строчек радуют только на начальном этапе, по факту пользуешься прямой и зигзаг.Дорогое обслуживание. Недолгий срок эксплуатации, но могут быть исключения, как повезёт. Дорогие современные- качество, конечно получше. Цена заоблачная. Запчасти тоже. Например у шпульконаматывателя заменить резинку стоит 4 т. Про электронику я вообще молчу, проще купить новую. Современные механические- есть металлические детали, не только пластик. Стоят дешевле, чинить тоже, ломаются чуть меньше, но достойных моделей не вижу, некоторые недостатки не дают удовольствия от пошива.И те и другие шьют определёнными нитками. Из современных можно рассматривать по качеству производственные. Большое кол-во металла или целиком. У них, как правило одна, строчка. Объёмные, со столом. Может быть педальное обрезание нити, или подъём/опускание лапки. Мощная. Долго служит. Цена вроде 25-50. Ретро/ антиквариат в хорошем состоянии: полностью метал, требуется смазка время от времени. Цена реальная. 1-2 строчки, много дополнительных лапок- гаджетов ( на блошинке по 50-100 руб.)петли, подгиб итд,, при снятой лапке может вышивать гладью. Ремонт недорогой, так как по сути это настройка, ломаться там нечему. На ручную можно установить педаль. Может шить любую толщину ткани. Ах, да! Ну и конечно же..., я не шью))

I did not think I would get emotional watching someone restore a sewing machine, but I was close to crying watching you bring it back to life. My grandma was 8 years old in 1931 when her dad bought her a more modern Singer model, the one with the foot pedal. Almost identical except for the foot pedal and the decoration is in gold rather than silver. From what she told me Singer salesmen travelled through villages and sold sewing machines with the incentive of teaching classes for those who bought them on how to use them. So her dad bought her one, sent her to classes and this machine and its sound has been part of my childhood. Falling asleep in my grandma's house listening to that sound is probably the most peaceful mental happy place for me. I still own pillow cases and bed sheets made on it. I learned how to use it making dresses for my dolls out of scraps of leftover material from my grandma. I remember how much she treasured it, how she oiled it with this tiny canister that fit all the nooks and holes designed to maintain it. It rests in my house now with all the stories I now tell my kids about it. She would have been so happy and proud to see you restore this one so beautifully. Thank you for this.

What a beautiful story. It's easy to understand why you got so emotional. My mother became a professional seamstress when I was about 9. I was not a happy camper with frequent "requests" to help out with hand sewing, which in time became better than hers, which was used as an excuse to take me out from playing soccer on the street with my neighbors, lol!!

THIS is one of THE most magnificent restorations I've watched! This machine was created when things were meant to last, when people took pride in the things they made. Every piece is substantial. Even the wood was salvageable! Bravo, good sir!!! This is a true work of restorative art!

Я только недавно восстановил машинку, найденную в сыром гараже, простоявшую 20 лет. Представляю, что пришлось испытать мастеру (я, вообще-то, испытывал удовольствие). Мало того, что он всё разобрал, отмыл, отчистил, собрал в нужном порядке (как, не представляю?) ещё и наладил, без чего всё предыдущее бесполезно. Мастеру класс за любовь к инструменту. Старые швейные машины обладают бессмертием, их производили с любовью, они надёжны, выносливы и главное, необычайно красивы (если это слово применимо к машинке), в отличие от современных.

У меня машинка -Подольск.Ему более 50лет.Раньше я на ней сумку сшила из советского толстого дерматина предсталяете возможности машинки? Сейчас стоит все руки не доходят подкрутить-подшаманить и дальше шить.Тяжелая больше 5кг может больше но беру ее двумя руками(она не ножная)

@@user-ef3fq4xt2q посмотри канал "Механик по швейным машинам" Шендерова Александра Даниловича из Бобруйска. - открываешь канал, выбираешь "видео", листаешь до урока №21(почему петляет верхняя нитка), канал "Мастер универсал", "Ремонт швейных машин в Барнауле". Посмотри Данилыча. Я по его урокам машину восстанавливал и настраивал. Я не механик ни разу, я хирург, но ремесло люблю.

I was so amaze of your dedication to restore this antique sewing machine. I really love sewing since my mama who influenced me. and seeing this video made me realize that not all things are easily to be thrown away just because it does not work anymore, but how you bring life to something we've thought its not useful anymore. Даже неправильно установленная игла на машине не даст ей выполнить свою задачу. Мастер до последнего винтика все собрал, ничего не упустив! Это просто восхитительно! Очень трепетно отношусь к своим машинкам. Одна досталась от мамы, ей было более 90 лет. Другую заработала сама и работаю на ней уже более 30 лет. А сейчас купила третью, я думаю эта последняя моя машинка. Я отношусь к ним как к живым. Моим помощницам, выручалочкам, волшебницам! Так и здесь происходит волшебство и любовь. Как будто к жизни вернули или разбудили красавицу! БРАВО! И ОГРОМНОЕ УВАЖЕНИЕ!❤

У меня сохранилась такая машина Зингер от бабушки, она в отличном состоянии, шьёт и кожу, и шелк. Браво мастерам за качество! Бабушка много шила и никак поломок!❤

Запомнить всё, да через видео легко а вот мне очень понравилось, он не просто ради денег всё делает что попало а именно на самую минимальную точки внимательно чистить. Плюс то что, интересную красоту с лазерным лучом делал. 👍

I would have taken still pictures of each step and kept the parts from each step in separate containers. I would have also numbered each container in the order of disassembly. Then used the video as a backup. That is the way I do it when rebuilding aircraft and auto engines. In the engine rebuilds some of the components are already numbered, like the pistons, their rods and bearings, along with the main bearings, etc. I also keep other component on boards in their order and they are secured incase the board gets knocked over the parts stay in their positions.

My grandmother had a Singer peddle sewing machine. I loved watching her sew on it. When she died, the people who cleaned her house stole it. My memory of her sewing is all I have left, and I am 73. My children never got to see the beautiful machine she had. It was a commercial sewing machine. My heart still aches when I think about it. Beautiful work sir!

I can almost cry!!! You can feel the deep appreciation for our past and those that came before us. All the things they endured to manufacture a way of life that paved the way for what we have today. A bobbin is the container that holds the thread underneath the needle. This bottom bobbin thread sews the underside stitches.

I was really shocked to find out that you actually cleaned and fixed/retooled the screws and other hardware. I figured you'd just replace those parts and restore the body! But that was amazing! This was so beautifully done and I'm sure that anyone would be really honored to own that machine and create on it again. What you did wasn't just restoration, it was art. Just beautiful! 👏

You did a great work and you even used all the pieces and wasn’t left with three screws you did not know where to put! 😅 I am the proud owner of three very old sewing machines, two are Singer and the last one is the most stunning one with patterns made of gold and mother of pearls, and some intricate hand engraved patterns. Two of them have been used my entire life as we do not have electricity in our summer and winter cottage, but needed new curtains and pillows. So I sewed everything on my old machines at the cottages and it went very well! They all sew very nice stitches and although I have five high tec computerized sewing machines as well, I still enjoy the most to sew on the old ones. It connects me to my ancestors who proudly sat like me, turning the wheel with one hand and steering the fabric under the needle with the other. To them this sewing machine meant they could be hired as seamstresses, and contribute to the family economy. It was worth its weight in gold. Thanks to these women, my ancestor grew from being poor farm helpers to being able to buy a small room in the city where there was more work to get. One of my ancestors even opened her own seamstress shop in the Main Street when her husband disappeared at sea. It did not stop her. She let her children go to school and sewed day and night on the Singer to keep things afloat. Her children got an education and good positions, earning more than her, they married and got children who also was told that hard work, education and God was the three things that should guide them through life. Then came I. Also a seamstress. Thanks to my ancestors and Singer, I was born into a wealthy family. I wonder how many lives Singer sewing machines changed hundred years ago? I bet there were a lot. It provided women with the possibility to earn their own money and was by that one major contributor to giving women independence.

not only does the singer inventor was a great mind, but also the people using these sewing machines are impressive as you also need skill to use it. i seen my grandmother use one of these old singer sewing machines decades ago same as the one restored in this video only difference is it has a foot pedal to keep it turning so you can use both hands free on the cloth. as a kid watching i was amazed how fast she works on it.

What I find amazing is that there still those out there with the skill and patience to restore these ageless pieces of the industrial age and bring them back to life. With the age of you tube these events can be documented and inspire others with possible skills but lack of confidence to pick up and bring back those items left for dead. We live in an age of planned obsolescence and cheaply made products which on a good day can maybe last a year all in the name of on going profits. Good job restoring the past.

Ролик нужно смотреть в обратном порядке. Как правило все эти "реставраторы" берут целую вещь а в конце делают из нее ржавый металлолом. Реально восстановить намного сложнее и отмочить преобразователем ржавчины до работоспособного состояния не выйдет. Так что насчет замуж лучше не надо - вдруг он и все остальное в обратном порядке делает?

@@LastError скажу что таких пoдъeбщиков в ютубе вагон и маленькая тележка. Даже компы восстанавливают помыв их зубной щеткой. И как конкретно они сделали видимость правдоподобия вопрос чисто технический. А то, что разобрать и восстановить конкретно корродировавшие детали погрев их горелочкой и обработав пескоструйкой не выйдет я точно знаю. Но ты можешь верить, кто ж тебе запретит.

It belonged to my great grandmother, and I can't stop thinking how amazed she would have been seeing her sewing machine pristine like this, because she got it second-hand, so I doubt if she ever saw hers looking like new...

@@dmtonusdimi9571 шьет все подряд. У меня такая машинка и гелевую скатерть я шил на стол, и пленку на тепличку, и брезент на чехол и кожу когда дверь на авто перешивал. Все шьет без проблем. Единственное, на этом видосе, надо регулировку сделать, чтоб не гримела так сильно

I inherited the same from my grandmother. Just before I inherited it, my mother had an engine installed on this machine so that she could use it. It's really nice to see another one exactly this machine.

My dad used to do embroidery work before in small pennants and flags and used these old Singers to production in 1980 to 2001. He still have these at his house and I always admired how beautiful these can be and sturdy!

In the sewing machine collecting world, machines like this are known as boat anchors. All collectors have three or four of them sort of hanging around, because we hate to throw them away. Most of us dont have the skills and tools you have. Strong work! Edited to add, most people dont know that the screws and bolts in a vintage Singer machine have a proprietary thread. Thats why he took the trouble to re- machine the slots on the screws that needed it. The only source for these screws is other old machines, or dead stock.

Но писать, что они никому не нужны только потому, что вам не удалось продать свою за большие деньги, как вам хотелось.....Надо шить на шв. машинахэ, чтобы понимать разницу между современными и антикварными/ретро, и разбираться в качестве вещей в принципе.

I was on,y going to check this vid out and watch a few minutes of it. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. 30 min. Later I am amazed at the person’s ability to remove everything and put it back together knowing exactly what they are doing! Amazing talent and beautiful machine.

Conheci este canal agora. Essa restauração me levou de volta no tempo ao ano de 1962, minha mãe era costureira e tinha uma máquina dessa. Havia me esquecido completamente desse modelo de canelinha, ou lançadeira. Aprendi com ela, hoje sou costureira também. Porém uso máquinas mais modernas, mas gostaria muito de ter uma dessa aí 😢.
