It's basically impossible to play a character that's totally separate from yourself in largely unscripted livestreams for months on end. We're getting kayfabe, not acting in the traditional sense.

To be fair, not collabing was not the only thing. They also stoped interacting publicly all of the sudden and from Matsuri's own confession in this clip, they had stop speaking much in private too. So even without speculating on the state of their relationship, a change was easy to notice.

Maybe, but only they know the real details. And something like this was pretty revealing, we can only speculate only so hard. We SORTA know she/luna whichever pulled back alittle but this shows why that was the case. That ship STILL a mighty ship !!

@@Vulji Indeed. It is pointless to speculate what happened or how it happened, but it is very hard to deny that something _did_ happen. You dont go from basically calling each other every day and constantly interacting to complete silence for 3 months. Not when you are such close friends as these two. It's just that not knowing the details has made many people completely overreact and caused some crazy theories to be unearthed. I think the fact that Matsuri even pointed out that they didnt have a falling out proves that she has been made aware of people's undue speculations. This concerns the JP fans even more than the Western ones to be fair.

Since multiple people have asked, this was clipped from yesterday's stream (November 19th, 2020). I decided to prioritize this clip to hopefully lay to rest some of the rumors I've seen circulating. We don't know these girls' personal lives and relationships beyond what they tell us, and spreading rumors and speculation is going to affect their reputations among fans, which has real consequences. I hope I don't need to remind you that speculation and false narratives recently forced Cover to abandon an entire branch of the group. Anything that the person doesn't say directly is speculation and should not be shared around as if it were true. Also, remember to take translations with a grain of salt (that includes mine).

With all due respect, if by "false narratives" you mean the CN situation with Artia and Rosalyn, then your head is in the wrong place my dude. Anyone who has properly checked the evidence compilation can see it's not just rumours, not by a mile. They were directly responsible for making the situation worse for Coco, and were deserving of their branch's fate. Please don't use your influence as a known translator to further spread ignorance about that fact. People need to at the very least know the truth behind the ones they're choosing to support in this occasion. They deserve and have the right to at least that much.

See why Luna started playing Ringfit? We could see some of the results on her birthday stream, as she didn't pass out live like she did in her 3D debut. Luna is certainly growing (while not aging at the same time).

@@Vulji She didn't back then though. That only happened after they decided not to date, because Matsuri doesnt want to date someone from the same company. It was a very mature decision. Still, I do believe Matsuri's affection for Luna doesnt need to be labeled anyway.

@@Vulji All on stream. Surprised you'd miss it, considering it's been happening at the height of Festivaluna content. Look for a channel called "TeeTee Subs". They have quite a few Festivaluna videos. The stream I'm talking about was the Minecraft stream right before Luna's 3D debut.

Glad to hear that FestivaLuna is still alive, even though it is more of a behind-the-scenes thing lately due to their busy individual schedule and Luna's physical condition. From what I read it seems she has some problems with her hand (tendonitis), so she's taking some time off to get that treated and recover, but I'm not 100% sure if that's what she's talking about here.

She has tendinitis in her wrist, which is a type of inflammation. Essentially it means the wrist is stiff, swollen and pained. From my understanding, it looks like she is going to need surgery for it, because it keeps flaring up. It really sucks - we are going to be without her for a period.

Everyone's been training hard for the next Hololive concert, huh? It's interesting to see the dance lessons pop up in everyone's streams occasionally. And Luna's 0-stamina has become a common theme in those stories lol It's kind of easy to forget how much stuff they do behind the scenes. They arent just streaming, they are recording songs, making brand deals, appear on interviews and radio shows. Especially Matsuri is all over the place, it's no wonder she has so little time to focus on much else.

Just saw a clip of Matsuri flirting with Nene. So how does this fit in the picture? Are we just to pretend they're are just acting out and they don't really mean that? Not getting answers for not knowing Japanese is the worst, really. Can't just ask us not to speculate (spreading rumors is a whole different thing though).

Doesn't really mean anything. Matsuri flirts with just about everyone, and she's even copped a feel on just about everyone. Not that she's incapable of strong feelings; actually she has strong feelings for several people, one among them being Luna. It's just that they're (probably?) not romantic in nature. I say this even as someone who is quite attached to the FestivaLuna ship XD It's best to just take it all in stride.
