Her fans had contacted her pianist and arranged this epic and beautiful tribute to surprise Lara during a personal, professional and emotional crisis. It has also been mentioned that she was depressed questioning her profession (after being blocked from the U.S. market) and life in general (a relationship break up). So 6000+ (some say up to 8000) joined in singing her song and when Lara sung: Je T'aime (I Love You) her fans responded: On T'aime (We Love you!). At the end of her performance and still overwhelmed she adds an additional line to her adoring fans: “you see, I love you...like that (full of emotion her voice cracks with "like that)”. This will be common place in future performances of her songs (Je T’aime and Pas Sans Toi) at her concerts!
