This song had a lot of early season/Ladynoir vibes to me, and I decided to try to highlight the more fun and adventurous side of their partnership, partly in tribute to their more lighthearted days, and also as a reminder of how great they are as a team, as it kind of seems to be the direction they're returning to with this season. ✨ I'm still not entirely sure what to think or feel with this season changing so fast (not to mention the lack of episode order 🤨🤦♀️😏) but I do know that it will all work out in the end and these two are definitely better together than they are apart. 😉💖
What are some things you find easy or exciting to do? ✨
What are some things you wish you were a natural at? (Lol, the list for me would be very long...math, martial arts, regular art, learning/speaking different languages, speaking confidently in general 😏🙃😉💫)
I think we are often trapped in a preconceived idea of "not being good" at a particular thing so you never try it again, or other people don't think you'll be able to do it so how can you have confidence in yourself?
It's easy to get discouraged when things don't come naturally to you, but (if you're anything like me) that's true of most things. While some people are gifted with abilities that make certain things come easier to them, you're gifted with abilities too. ✨
You have the power to think, learn, and make your own choices, and the more time and effort you put into something the better you start to understand and master it.
Ladybug and Cat Noir didn't start out as perfect heroes and even now they still make mistakes.
On her first day Ladybug literally fell out of the sky, unleashed a flood of akumas, and promptly quit.
(Meanwhile, Cat Noir was too hasty to listen to instructions, wasted his cataclysm, and was almost crushed by a bunch of rock monsters...that doesn't sound like a naturally equipped hero to me. 😏🙃😉)
But they both learned from their mistakes, and the more time they spent fighting and growing into their new powers, the more natural and instinctive their actions are, as their hidden talents and personalities finally had a chance to shine through.
You can be amazing at anything! But it doesn't happen magically or at birth - it's something you have to work toward and dedicate yourself to becoming, and if you do, you'll be a natural in no time. 😎🎉😉😁
(Of course, it's easy for me to say all this, the real problem is staying motivated. 😏😜😅😉
But I hope this video is a fun reminder of Ladybug and Cat Noir's inspiring examples and an encouragement to keep pursuing whatever it is you long to be capable of doing naturally. 😉💖🤗)
Another important thing to note is that - as evidenced by the ladynoir duo - it is often easier and more motivating to share and work towards your goals with someone else who can come alongside you and help spur you on to greater achievements.
Even just talking about your interests and challenges with a friend can be helpful since it gives them an opportunity to encourage you and help hold you accountable with things you want to do. 💞
But I know sometimes it can be hard to find a really good, supportive friend, and often it seems like you're all on your own, with nothing but your own wilting dreams to support you and that can be really tough. It's hard to stay motivated under regular conditions, but when you're feeling isolated and juggling with life struggles and difficulties in the midst of it, trying anything new can seem all but impossible.
I think the main reason for that is we aren't born naturally ready to handle everything, life is super stressful, and sometimes we just want to know that someone still cares and wants to actively bring hope and encouragement into our life.
The good news is, someone does care like that. We humans were beautifully and wonderfully created by God, each crafted with our own unique personalities and desires and he wants to fill your life with purpose, be there for you when times are hard, and strengthen you when you're feeling weak. 💜
One Bible verse that has always been especially encouraging to me is Philippians 4:13 which says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Notice it doesn't say he will instantly make you awesome at everything, or magically wipe away all your problems, but instead of having to rely on yourself and worry about not being capable of it all, you can rest in knowing that the Maker of all the universe is there to support you and equip you for the challenge at hand.
The thing is, you have to be willing to trust your life to him, since believing on Jesus is the only way to have a restored relationship with God, but if you do, you'll have access to the power that can do anything supernaturally. 💖🔥⚡⛈
Hope you have an incredible day!
(Go face that challenge! You can do it! Naturally. 😉❤🤗⚡)
With love,
Your friend Christina💞
