D-13's Incident Report: "On the 6th day of July 2023, I was stationary facing east on Interstate 40 eastbound, looking for violations. While at the 256- mile marker exit ramp, I noticed a white Hyundai traveling west at a high rate of speed. I used my radar to confirm that the vehicle was traveling 101 mph in a 75 mph zone. I quickly left my stationary position eastbound and got on I-40 West. I caught up to the vehicle around the 251-mile marker and initiated my blue lights. The driver failed to stop and began fleeing. During the pursuit, we reached triple-digit speeds. The fleeing vehicle swerved in and out of both westbound lanes of traffic. The suspect vehicle exited the interstate at the 242-mile marker and ran the stop sign for the intersection with State Highway 284. The suspect then continued to flee westbound on Interstate 40. Due to the manner of driving, I determined I would need to use a TVI once I had another unit involved in the pursuit. As we approached the 241-mile marker, Sergeant Fleming with the Arkansas State Police became the second unit in the pursuit. At that time, I positioned myself in the outside lane to attempt a TVI on the fleeing in the inside lane. My first attempt was not successful due to not making contact with the suspect’s vehicle. On my second attempt, I matched the vehicle's speed and made positive contact with the vehicle's rear quarter panel. I crossed into the inside lane rotating the fleeing vehicle into a clockwise spin. The vehicle crossed in front of my unit and into the heavily vegetated north roadside ditch. The vehicle overturned several times before coming to a final rest on its top facing south. I slowed down, made a U-turn, and assisted with the felony takedown. While exiting my vehicle, I could see two suspects fleeing into the west tree line within the ditch. I radioed Troop D Communication giving them the suspected driver and passenger's clothing description. Sergeant Fleming cleared the suspect’s vehicle and began to direct local agencies into setting up a perimeter. Both suspects were apprehended later with the help of the Arkansas Game and Fish, the St. Francis County Sherriff Department, the Forrest City Police Department, and the Forrest City Fire Department Drone Team. Forrest City Fire Department EMS were on the scene, but both suspects refused treatment. The suspects were then transported to St. Francis County jail and charged with the below-listed charges. 5-54-125(c): FLEEING - ON FOOT 5-54-125(d)(3): FLEEING - FELONY - BY VEHICLE - INJURY 27-50-302(a)(7): SPEEDING - MORE THAN 15 MPH OVER LIMIT 27-50-308(b)(1)(B) 1ST: RECKLESS DRIVING - 1ST 27-14-306: FICTITIOUS TAGS 27-37-702: NO SEATBELT 27-16-602: NO DRIVER LICENSE OR LICENSE EXPIRED 27-22-104: NO LIABILITY INSURANCE"

I’m from NJ but from what I see, Arkansas has the best Troopers in the country.

I like the being able to see the speed on screen, the dashcams that record the mph right on the video. Makes it even more interesting and intense and interesting.

If in The State of Arkansas, and you see a Arkansas State Trooper pull up behind you and those Blue Lights are activated and you refuse to pull over, the only thing that you need to be saying, is OH CRAP , OH CRAP, that Trooper is going to P.I.T. my butt and i am going to jail. I have traveled the interstates and roads of the State of Arkansas for decades and would cross skid marks periodically that made me go hmmm. Now I know the rest of the story.

It never ceases to amaze me how these people survive crashes that should have resulted in serious injury or death. Coincidentally, they often are fleeing felons or engaged in some type of criminal behavior. I witnessed a crash years ago that should have resulted in 4 fatalities but the males crawled out of the destroyed vehicle with no apparent injury. One of them had a scratch on his forehead.

Left lane campers. ASP should "Click it (dash cam plate reader) and Ticket!" Stay in the right lane, get the fuck out of the left lane. If you ain't scanning your gauges, mirrors and out the windows ever give seconds, you need to pull over to the nearest Motel 6 for a nap!!! They even leave the light on.... SMH

In Georgia they pit their peaches and in Arkansas they pit the cars. Give me something to watch every night. Great triple lindy. Guess they will be late for taco Tuesday.

People driving by in the left lane, they be like, Just another Day on the highway with ASP with long arm guns around their neck and shoulder. Amazing. I just hear sirens and see blue lights and I pull in the right lane and my heart stops beating. I say a prayer for the police or ambulance or the victims who may have got hurt. We say this with every video, but the cars in the left lane not passing 😮. I was traveling 5 hours on the interstate and the number of near accidents caused by people creating back up and then people hitting their brakes, causing a chain reaction of brake checks is astounding. You can't tell if someone is tapping their brakes or slamming them on in front of you. No one thinks they are driving slow enough for the right lane or wants to lose their place, until they feel the pressure of multiple cars on their butt. It never ceases to amaze me who unaware drivers on the interstate are, yet if you listen to comments, nearly everyone is agreement. The "it's never me, it's always someone else" mentality. Well, it is you sometimes, and it is me sometimes. Stay in the right lane unless passing and traffic will flow smoother, and if you want to pass, dont go 1 mph faster than the car in the right lane and back up traffic. You don't ever see the consequences of this bc it's always behind you, but I have seen several bad wrecks caused by drivers letting cars build up behind them and cars being trapped in the left lane, not being able to pass or get over. The people who cause the accidents never are held accountable, bc they aren't in them.

Guess criminals aren't the only ones who don't give up. Nice work all LE involved.

I just drove back and forth from KS to GA, crossing AR on I-40.Had a county unit sneak up on me while in inside lane but no lights going (not sure what state), I got over soon as I could and let them pass.

Drove otr for about 10 years in my 20’s to mid 30’s. I couldn’t count how many exit ramps and on ramps I slept on. They started to crack down on that near the end of my career which I thought was counterproductive. You’d rather a dead ass tired man just keep driving? Stupid

Whats up with the 1st trooper driving like a maniac trying to catch up with the perp with no emergency lights on and no siren? He was putting innocent drivers in danger coming up on them at 100 MPH with no siren and no lights on. Passing them on the right and everything. They need to put their lights and siren on to let people know they are coming if they are chasing somebody at high speed like that.
