In this video I take a first look at the Naturehike CW280 Ultralight Goose Down Sleeping Bag, giving initial feedback after a first night of use, and showing me in the bag which helps with perspective.
I will follow up with a further video once I’ve tested the bag over the next few months.
The thoughts expressed in the video are personal to me and everyone will view things from their own perspective.

Perfect timing. I’m looking for a more compact three season bag. Mine is perfect except it is really bulky. Great vid Andrew.

Nice reviews. From my understanding which should be in the care section is to Shake the sleeping bags. Shaking After Each Use & before packing will get the insulation back to the middle that gets pushed to the sides while we lay in them. Interesting how the wind never blows when the bugs are the worse. Oh that netting looks like an Excellent head covering from the Bugs

Yes, a very good sleeping bag, have now used it on multiple occasions and I’d rate it very highly with excellent zip! Not too good for big people or those who are wide at the shoulders, but perfect for me 👍🏻

Yes I’d say you’d fit but they aren’t very wide…much bigger than me and it would be a bit tight!

how about after a year? warm enough in colder spring/summer days?

Interestingly, I’ve bought a replacement bag which I’ve filmed and should publish over the next week! The Naturehike one did not live up to cooler nights in spring/autumn and more importantly even odd occasions in summer! In warm weather it’s a lovely bag to sleep in but needed additional layers when it cooled down, so didn’t work as expected, although I’ll keep it for particularly hot periods.

@@thecampingbiker791 there is also a CW400 - slightly warmer version. Maybe that one would do. I'm looking for a small bag still but capable of keeping me comfy in a cold summer day

@@UncleLongbeard actually I’ve recently bought a thermal sleeping bag liner from Mountain Warehouse for winter camping and it has surpassed my expectations providing a warm addition…next time out with colder night temperatures I’ll try it with the Naturehike bag and report back!

Naturehike is perhaps the worst company to deal with when ordering. If you don't receive your order, they do not respond via emails and eventually the only way to get a refund is via your credit card company.

Doesn’t sound great, and what a pain that is! Fortunately I’ve not had problems but have never bought direct from them so guess I’ve been lucky

Bought and tested sleeping bag last week. Stinky and low quality filling didn't keep me warm. Misleading information. Don't waste your money.

Coincidentally I’m planning my follow up video on the bag after using over 18 month as a spring, summer and autumn bag and have to say the Warm Rating is optimistic at best! As a warm summer bag I like it but do use a silk liner and if really hot just throw the bag off for comfort, it’s okay in late spring and early autumn but outside of that I’m using extra camping blanket which rather defeats the 3 season use as a stand alone. In summary I find it is a good summer bag but that’s all I can say after testing in different conditions.
