After my daughter told me about the roof top tents I was completely sold. Immediately order this from Amazon after extensive research and here it is. I must say that I'm in love with this thing. Literally can camp where ever I go. That part had me!

We had a roof top tent and loved it! We’ve since graduated to an RV so we can do more traveling. If I may make one recommendation is maybe move the cross bar a little more towards the front of the SUV to provide better support.

RV is decidedly the way to go but that will come once we decide exactly what we want to do. I’m looking at a totally different rack system for the tent because I’ll feel better if it has a solid base. Thank you!
