@@anthonysmith8900 she doesn’t have to try certain items because she knows the science behind them. She’s speaking scientifically. How many influencers or gurus do you know that supposedly try things and claim it works for them, only to for A) the same individual to be struggling with their skin 6 months later and B) to have a dermatologist or chemist breakdown the product and explain why it’s ineffective or problematic to the skin. I would like to note that she did describe using several of the products.

Great to see Dr. Dre's review on this brand as a dermatologist and breaking down the ingredient list, especially for people that have allergies. My thoughts on the brand is that I personally adore some of their products! I have been using them for 7 months and staple items in my routine are the retinol cream, HA serum, Vit.C serum, BHA toner, and ceramide cream. I like the eye cream but it's not totally essential. They do have similar product ideas to other brands so I think it comes down to personal preference for most people. I have friends that swear by other brands and their formulations won't work for me. I like that this brand is fragrance free, affordable, environmentally conscious plus I have seen great results in my skin. Out of all the North American brands this is one I continue to support and then use (mostly) Korean skincare for the rest of my routine. Still really enjoyed Dr. Dre's thoughts on it though!

I've been using the Azelaic topical acid for like 2 months now, don't have any problem with it. And I love the consistency of it! That just shows how personal skincare is. @@Peanut_taco_muffin it is a personal preference thing. Dr. Dray said that she's not sure why she got an itching reaction from it, that's just how her skin reacted. Not everyone gets the same reaction as people can be sensitive to different ingredients. Having different formulations of the same actives is also a personal preference thing. Obviously don't use all of the niacinamide products, but one person might prefer a mist, another person might prefer the essence, third person might prefer moisturizer etc. Just depends on what individual people want/need in their routines and how they're combining it with other products. What "medical science thing" says that mist is better than essence or vice versa?

I'd be interested in seeing a Part 2 for newer products. I was introduced to Naturium through their body products more than their facial skin products, and I have definitely noticed smoother skin after using the three body lotion products. I also like the body washes but I do think that most of them use citrus fruits, so I can already imagine Dr. Dray's responses lol. But for the facial products, I am a huge fan of the retinaldehyde serums.

What kills me too is the influencer would always say a palette wasn't good for her if you couldn't deepen looks and her palette really didn't have a deep shade just tried to justify that it had purple and you can use it for that. @@kendrickyay Exactly!!! I literally cannot give two f*ks about Saccharino Yaya (saccharino basically means pseud/pretentious) anymore. I'm not putting her down for her race, race is like the last thing to come to mind when someone fudges up like the way she did.

Love this No BS review although I stopped using a lot of product and just stick on what I learned from you. It took 3 years for my skin to recover but it’s so worth it. Thank you so much🙏🏻

Wow this brand took all the “holy grails” of the most popular skincare brands and make their own and even had the nerve to make a higher % tricking people into thinking the higher the better 😂😂😂 wow this video is gold! thanks dr for always use the science and tell us the truth about skincare

I remember SY bashing the ordinary over and over again, just to promote her brand and everything she put out were knock off's of the ordinary and other awesome brands, but more expensive oh and don't forget "cosmetically elegant".😒 I really don't care about the feeling of my skincare as long as it works. Plus the ordinary don't use fragrance and also have their pH right.

@@kellysblackcat While I agree with most of what you said, cosmetic elegance does matter somewhat. Like if something pills badly or doesn’t rub it well it probably won’t do as much for your skin.

I’ve used about 5 naturium and actually have loved them all for price, consistency, and results. The gelee Niacinimide wash is my fav cleanser I’ve ever tried in last year.

Same! My Esthetician recommended their Gelee Niacinamide cleanser to me and honestly its my favorite now too! I was scared too because I tried many cleansers this year that were too drying on my currently dehydrated skin.

Dr.Dray you have educated us enough, that we identified many of these problematic ingredients already. This video is a great validation for our learning.

Wasn’t planning on ever trying this brand after the way it all went down with the launching of it, but I do like to get the honest opinion from a real dermatologist.

The only time I’ve ever questioned the doctor! Gold does have substantiated studies, proving that it is incredible for the skin. It’s more a of a recent “revolutionary” product used for skin. Of course it would have to be pure and not somehow including nickel. Usually those with nickel allergies have zero issues with gold whatsoever, but of course if there are bits penetrating deeper than the epidermis maybe the skin would react negatively.
