@@NaviUpgrade I have tried doing the same as in first step but once plugging in the usb it will not do any thing with Sync 3, and not uploading the mod, any thoughts?? My Sync 3 is latest 23088

Hi everyone, I have a problem with sync since I switched from sync 2 to sync 3 I have a problem with speed limits and road signs, does anyone know how to solve the problem? road signs only read those that I physically encounter on the road but, for example, on the motorway they disappear together with the speed limit.

So weird you have to jailbreak it for it to work when MFT allows you to upload pics with the SD card and save it as the wallpaper. So lame they didn’t just continue it that way. It’s not that complicated since Sync 3 is more like a computer than MFT was.

Thanks very much for the video's all is working quite well. I added a number of mods, including top and bottom translucent bars to get better visibility on my uploaded background. I was trying to teak the lettering and installed fmods "dark grey theme" and now can barely see the lettering, both day and night settings. Is there a way to "unload" the theme so I can troubleshoot lettering visibility? Or do I have to remove all my mods and start from scratch? Thanks in advance.

Time to redo the video LOL. He just released a new update that allows adding and deleting backgrounds on the fly! No more rebooting to install or remove backgrounds

I did the customs back ground loader and plugged in the usb with a Customer back ground folder with day and night folders and it didn’t load them

Which version of SYNC 3 is that? I am curious cause I don't see the climate tab in my version (3.4).

If your car has auto climate you can enable the climate tab via FORScan

I guess when I installed I have the newer version of custom backgrounds, I still set up with the folders and file name but am not getting anything loaded to the synce 3 module once I hit add in the background menu

Awesome yeah I validated I have proper naming without spaces--and the folder structure is correct but it ill still not load any images when selecting add in the menu

I am having the same problem. I installed the latest Background modifier that he released. It added the add and delete option but when i insert my usb stick with images on, its not detecting/adding any.

Unrelated but any info on if this is possible with Sync 4 in a Bronco? Can’t seem to find anything on it. Probably too new still.

Should be possible but Sync 4 is still very difficult to acquire since most allocation is going towards production vehicles, not parts shelves 👍 I've heard months wait times even at Ford dealerships for Sync 4 modules that have hit the hay

I ran into this hit and miss. I think the file names were too long but I haven't thoroughly tested that theory. Try shorter ones 👀

@@NaviUpgrade sorted it mate. I had the file name with a space in it for example "focus 1" where it should of been "focus1" all one word. Got all the pics on now what I wanted thanks

Did the jail break, Installed daemon,installed mods tool and installed custom backgrounds have been trying to follow your video with installing the back grounds and pictures are not getting added to the sync3. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

I don’t know if I figured it out but I have pictures loaded. I just re- installed mod tools and whatever follows to be installed and I finally seen the pictures installed. Just try re-installing everything again and hopefully it will work for you. Good luck.

when i addmy photos to usb never get the ateam noticification when inserting usb, and when i try add through custom loader add option mod doesnt see backgrounds. this is after running my picturs through your ATN file. i have already installed clear button mods etc. have made customerBackgrounds folder with day and night insde. ny pictures in the folders. any further advice running 3.4.21098 as recommended in your other video

It got updated. You can go to settings > display > background and select the photos manually 👍

SYNC 3 is straight garbage. I miss my 2014 F150 that had an older version. it was sooo much nicer, and i could load my own backgrounds, with spending time and money on stuff that voids my warranty.
