Jimmy Watson has got one hell of a story to tell. He served 17 years on active duty, first with two deployments as a U.S. Marine before getting into private contracting at Blackwater, where he'd eventually rise to the rank of Team Leader and find himself squarely in the sights of the F.B.I. following the events of the Nisour Square Massacre.
From there he'd join SEAL Teams over at SDV off the coast of Hawaii, before eventually pivoting into bodyguard work for one John McAfee - shortly before becoming Team McAfee's very own CEO. Throw in a scandalous dash of crypto trading, a sketchy stint doing in contract work in Columbia, and you've got yourself one hell of a story. Fortunately for us, when it comes to Jimmy Watson, nothing is off limits.

I live here in Lexington. Have met this guy. Awesome dude. Was a furniture delivery and John bought so much from our store we had to close down for a week. Went to John’s house. Dude would tip out the wazoo Actually was nice and so was this guy here. Crazy experience!!

I knew a guy from the Vietnam era with a similar path. 3 tours in Vietnam in the Marines. They told him he couldn’t go back again so he got out, went to Rhodesia and served as a mercenary; barely got out alive during a huge offensive. Flies back to the states and immediately joins the Army and serves 2 more tours in Vietnam. Retired when he got his 20 and became a cop. Retired from LE after 20. His name was Ronald Melgaard. We called him “Muffin”.
