Imagine T-Mac and prime Dwight Howard in the same team… if only… 😢

It never even made any sense to be honest. You look at the draft profiles of Howard and Okafor and they were almost 1:1 the same exact player at the time of the draft. It’s just that one of them was only 18 years old compared to 21 or 22. If this draft happened again nowadays, and we didn’t know how the careers of these two would pan out, Howard would be the unanimous #1 pick

@@AdamKlownzinger Would a player who spent three years in college like Okafor be considered a top pick today? Or would that be a sign that he’d probably be less likely to significantly improve from his rookie season? Okafor was an ok player from the looks of it, but Howard would prove to be much better a few years down the line.

Stephen A made no sense. “You can afford to be developmental when you go to an expansion team” No you can’t! An expansion team has no talent. So if youre a potential superstar who needs time to develop, you probably dont want the situation where an entire franchise is immediately placed in your shoulders. Orlando was going to have a number of good veterans around whoever they drafted, and that is a much easier situation to actually develop in.

Damn this was a pretty deeper than draft I realized…. Mostly everyone drafted even if they didn’t have a star career they played in the league for a while as a legitimate role player

Who would of thought iggy would be the last man standing from this draft and career wise the best wing player in an otherwise weak wing draft...

I remember thinking DH was a bad pick for Orlando... truth is orlando shouldve did everything to keep him...if this draft was 2023 Okafor at age 22 would have been a 2nd round pick
