We good on guards, Martin is just too little for our needs at the moment. If they not a true PF or Young Center, we don't have no space for them to get minutes or even fill in for injury at this point. Future picks or young 6 foot 8 plus players are our only current needs If anything, make space for GTJ and consolidate some of these players.. maybe a GTJ (on a cheap contract) and a Boucher is more enticing to some than simply a GTJ type thing, or Brown can be thrown in that mix too

The Raptors don't desperately need another Wing... what they desperately need is some frontcourt size in their rotation especially if Darko is going to keep Boucher nailed to the bench (if he's not traded). If the Raps are going to pay another wing 20 million it might as well be GTJ who shoots better than Martin and is 3 years younger.

The raptors are smart. A lot smarter than most front offices. We do not want more salary. We do not need to complicate our books. We should Go forward with the youth. Let them learn and grow together and add another elite prospect next year. Then in the 2025 off season we can start moving forward with our TRUE young core in place. Scottie RJ iq dick walter mogbo and hopefully cooper Flagg or ace Bailey or heck, the Ron Harper jr brother. There’s a lot of talent coming. There’s a 7’2 kid from the Sudan who’s projected top 7-10 next year. Maybe he’s our centre of the future.

Cooper Flagg lol, we would have to be stupid lucky or be really bad to achieve that find.. I think I with you though. We don't need to tank but play for health and put guys into positions to learn, not win games (Ie play Scottie Barnes 82 games at 42 mins per game). We got a ton of unproven talent waiting to blossom and I hear you on needing a bit more talent in the door and let them all cook. Will make us flexible in the future to have the option for trades for Fit if need be as well

I wouldn't be too surprised if the Lakers make a pitch for Gary Trent Jr. I'd be okay with us keeping Bruce. Also, i wouldn't mind if we sign the young Serbian centre Tristan Vukcevic who the Wizards are not resigning. The Wizards are a strange team.

On Caleb Martin like him on ST for GTJ where they both sign only if you trade Bruce for other. If the trade is for Bruce would likely be 3 year $21, 19, 17 with third team option + 2029 first top 6 protected since we are taking on more money.

Straight no. Like the guys hustle. Really made a name for himself with Miami no doubt. Raptors need a solid vet to come into this starting rotation so we can compete and still develop the prospects we’ve picked up.

If we didn’t have any particular free agents we wanted right away and no potential trade interest for Bruce Brown… front office should’ve declined his player option and opened up that money. We might have been able to get a few people like Jalen Smith and or Patrick Williams. Lost opportunities! Now we’re stuck and nobody left to pick up in free agency

Never liked Caleb after his dirty foul on Scottie in his rookie season. Scottie cleanly smoked him for a dunk and Caleb was clearly pissed a rook had shown him up. Scottie was injured on the play but it could have been way more serious.

Al Horford told me to tell you, your whole team doesn't need to be the same age. Raps got a plenty of young guys except for big ones (Carlson doesn't look that bad, future back up though). It's just that it's a stupid trade in general for a guy who isn't 6 ft 8+

Oh man I have a sickly feeling we are going into next season with the roster we have now, trading jak into the season and tanking in the worst way possible with no center teaching our guys the worst habits, I really don’t want to do the no center thing for a whole season

SB, RJ and IQ are not down for tanking. That's the quickest way to see them force their collective way out of Toronto and into a wining environment. Poeltl will not be traded unless a starting center is coming back in return like Jarrett Allen. Poeltl's contract is becoming more reasonable by each free agent center signing.

with temple all roster spots are full. the only move left is trying to trade brown and boucher as they will bring back matching salary. the problem is big fish gotta get off the board before brown and boucher can be moved.

@@ScottieDPOYY its basically derozan and maybe ingram left on the board. i dont think anyone is gonna offer what knicks traded for bridges for markannen. so two big fish left and then they will start looking at bruce brown and boucher. with derozan gone, its likely the kings try to trade for ingram since they dont have assets for markannen. but kings need to find a good 7 ft defensive rim protecting center that a team is willing to part with for a 1st. its what pelicans want in return for ingram, a center to replace valanciunas. maybe raptors can get yves missi from pelicans for not taking a pick and just sending that to pelicans. raptors can ship out poeltl and agbaji to replace valanciunas and naji marshal the pelicans lost.

@@giovanni-ed7zq I don't think Derozan is gone? I can't see anything about him actually traded anyway. I did forget about Ingram, I actually not a big fan of that trade. I not opposed to letting Poetl go, just not sure Ingram is the guy. He going to cost too much for what he is worth in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, he good player but not worth a max I wouldn't say and he is more of a slow methodical player vs a heavy ball movement offense we trying to run. Poetl is our one true Center and fits that style offence atleast fairly well.. just don't think BI fits what we got going on vs some other teams. Then we would be stuck with no real Center and BI would raise our floor a ton, we wouls have to trade a lot to get some magical Center whom I don't know who is. I think we gotta be patient on Poetl trade because we can't go back to guys like Kelly Olynyk starting for us (great back up, or certain match ups PF)
