It does take a bit of concentration and touch to just simply tap it for a secured rebound or snag it. There are other bodies around while your main focus is stopping the shot...

When I play NBA in 2k Sports, I always create my own fantasy team of the players I like and I always include him. The guy's so underrated. It's no small feat being able to play in an All Star game for being a really good Defensive player. It's usually top scorers on that matter.

I think I remember Bill Russell once commenting about how he didn't understand why players blocked shots out of bounds. He thought the better play was to keep it inbounds. Even if the opposing team gets it again it was better than no chance getting the ball.

One of the most satisfying, very satisfying and very addicting is to block a shot into the stands or to pin the ball on the backboard. At 5'10 44in vertical. So blessed to had the opportunity to do both block it into the stance and pin it on the backboard. But my favorite way to block a shot was to block it off the backboard hard 🖐🏼😤. Damn I missed playing this game of basketball so much.
