Bayless's relationship with Shay is different from from his with Smith. Smith and Bayless is mearly that of commentators, neither have Pro Athlete experience. Shannon has accolades that neither of them have. He knows what that space feels like in its entirety. Bayless is jealous of that as well as Sharp is being taken seriously as a broadcaster. He projected when he went after him about Brady.

Its probably a bit of everything, as it usually is with humans. Shannon is a great guy, he will always respect and appreciate Skip for the opportunity and as a coworker. But also doing shows with Skip is hard work and it gets exhausting, especially since Skip goes overboard with insults sometimes. Undisputed is a big job that pays well, but Shannon is reaching his limits with it. So now with his current self he wants to go do something else, and he already has other content he does. It doesnt mean there is super conflict with Skip, its just time to move on.

That Anthem was not written with us included in fact there was some original lyrics taken out the anthem that had derogatory comments towards the slaves.

What SKIP did was to marginalize Shannon Sharpe's Hall Of Fame status, and compared that to Tom Brady. That's comparing apples to zebras. Neither could do what the one did in their respective positions. It was bad form on Skip's part, especially given Shannon's contributions to the show AND to FS1. Shannon Sharpe will be just fine.

Stephen -> Just because someone helped launch your career; this doesn't mean you treat that person as a god! If they do something wrong(not something petty or in the spirit of clout chasing), then call them on it! If that person cannot take it, then that's a them problem(NOT A YOU PROBLEM)! Shannon has developed into a very good co-host with lots of views. Good ratings and good topics. I like Skip, especially during Stephen A Smith and Skip talk about Tebow. But my problem with Skip is he does not give Lebron some credit. How could Skip use his hatred for Lebron for whatever reason and talk bad about the greatest player the world has ever seen.

Ik this is a hot take but I can't stand Skip Bayless or Stephen A Smith for pretty much the same exact reasons. Shannon TALKS game because he KNOWS the game. Did Skip or Stephen ever play a single sport even at a collegiate level? I'll watch Shannon wherever he goes, but my viewership is mostly with McAfee now.

Shannon is worth so much more than sitting across from an idiot who most can't stand!!! People watched the show because of Shannon's perspective on matters..

stephen a is the modern day house slave, he turns his cheek to skip bayless repeatedly cracking the whip at shannon instead of confronting him all bc of skip giving him a platform. there’s nothing wrong with being forever grateful but if skip is the friend/equal you claim him to be you’d check him when he’s wrong
