@@FishyFishstick13 you are completely wrong. The NBA has not changed rules to make scoring easier, they legalized zone defense which led to the 2000s being the lowest scoring era in NBA history. It was impossible to score on the zone. There was only one way to beat it, and that was the 3 point shot. Once teams figured this out, they started shooting the 3 nonstop and it changed everything. Made offenses unstoppable because of spacing. There were no rule changes that led to more scoring, the only rule changes led to significantly less scoring. There are also fewer free throws now then ever before, so it's not like the refs are causing the games to be high scoring. Teams have just figured it out, and there's no nutting the genie back in the bottle now.
