You do not know what goes on behind closed doors. Sometimes one parent is toxic and should be kept from the children to protect them, physically or even psychologically. The physical abuse is easy to see on a kid. Easy to decipher. It's the mental and emotional abuse that is just as damaging that we are not privy to in most of the cases. You are making a judgement on her parenting why? Because her ex is a pretty boy with fame? She's kept quiet about the dispute and is allowing the courts to deal with it. You should too.

@@susanboyd6592 sometimes it is totally different parenting styles. For example a child that refuses to listen obey the parents. That child is able to scream and emotionally abuse a parent while the other defends the child. Lets say in Angelina and Brads case. Brad believes in some sort of punishment and Angelina is a totally hands off type person. The problem is when you have one parent not supporting the other there is no other choice but divorce as the child especially an adopted child will never look to the other parent as the real parent and will abuse the situation. I believe this was the case with Brad he was emotionally abused from the adopted children possibly 1 or more and when he grabbed the child to reprimand them Angelina called it physical abuse.

Sadly 5 years is a long time, hopefully the kids are doing well and both parents can some nice things about each other. Children are not badminton birdies. What happens in front of them today will be reflected in there lives tommorow, day after tommorow, then other days forward,. Most often in divorce, kids hear the worst about there parents & are left with unresolved love (Conflicts)...(fears of abandonment).....(what happens to me), it's way too traumatic for their brains to have to deal with adult issues, & they shouldn't ever have to... Im aware that nowadays with the internet, adult dating sites etc, chat rooms, children can view the cell phone & where it takes them as a SOURCE of trouble....SO SAD that a device was created to make communications easier, but sadly has given everyone the keys to tear it all apart. A move towards homesteading and living off grid is giving some people there lives back, restoring faith and hope, just saying how was life before all the technology was brought in. USA lived alot of good years before all this evolved, now we are stuck in this cancel culture, and living in a fake world of he said, she said, it was stated drama. Whatever happened may not have been extreme enough to warrant legal action but it clearly had a significant effect on all of them, it triggered their divorce and the son stopped speaking to him. That doesn't sound like parental alienation. Too many men use that term to deflect when their kids don't want to see them. There is usually a good reason for why a kid doesn't want to see a parent. Abuse or neglect will alienate a child from a parent...

It happens all the time. Millions of men won’t get married now as divorce is now common and women file 2/3rds of divorces. The system almost incentivizes custody disputes as child support is tied to the percent of time with the child. Some of of these parties are narcissists or sociopaths so if they can get the judge to give them more custody because of a false allegation of abuse they will get more child support and alienate the targeted parent. Don’t get married guys. Stay single.
