It's crazy to see that reverse aging is actually somewhat easier and earlier to accomplish than curing cancer and other diseases.

I have said this before, they dont want to cure cancer. Trillions get invested to cancer research each year and still zero progress they are making too much money from it insurance companies and hospitals and those faceless men that own the hospitals and insurance companies are making so much money it isn't even funny. Also even if they did release a cure none of us can afford it because big companies will ensure they can keep milking their cash cow which is us.

I can't believe people are saying this you can treat your skin in so many ways, like having a good skin care routine that involves retinols that helps for fine lines and wrinkles, hyaluronic acid which is for plumpness, ceramides are for skin barrier to protect it,antioxidants help to protect skin from aging because it fights radicals, don't forget spf the sun also diet accelerate aging and causes collagen loss which is the cause of sagging and loss of firmness, so collagen+glycerin products or supplements are helpful you can also try fractual lazer different chemicals peels, especially phenol peels which is a very powerful peel but it's for heavily aged skin, it can go so deep as to affect the heart but there are other chemical peels for skin as well, can't believe people just sit and complain about wrinkles when so many things can be done humans are weird I forgot to mention there are many electro current devices you can use

So for our generation that’s awesome, but for those who are older an never heard of it until now it’s kinda too late.. They complain bc there is literally nothing they can do? Its a circulatory disease, your brain no longer gets nutrition and oxygen. Your brain is full of tiny blood vessels, if your arteries can clog up... those tiny blood vessels glog up first. That's why old men need blue pills, that's the first sign. Circulatory system is the most important organ. But ask people to not eat meat and eat more vegetables, they will come up with insane excuses and conspiracies.

I noticed some changes in my mom, i didn't know what it was until two months ago when she started to say the cameras are following her, and she is hearing voices of guys wanting to harm her. And if this takes a while, Neuralink has already induced very basic vision in primates. They demoed it yesterday on stream in an annual update. The technology will even work for those who have been blind since birth. The tech will improve quickly and dramatically, so until the point this restoration technology is perfected, she might be able to have some 32,000 pixels of light (not colors yet), and continuously more in updates and upgrades. They're planning on having the first human trial in six months, but I think the more realistic timetable is around a year from now then a while longer before public release. There's always inevitable delays. In one way or another, your daughter will have a seeing future thanks to science and technology 🥰

Curious what, if any, effect this has on telomerase, which would mean this crosses over into affecting the actual genome. For those that are unaware, your chromosomes have protective caps on them called telomeres and they shorten with each mitosis cycle. Our germ line cells contain a ribozyme called telomerase that maintains telomere length, but our somatic cells repress the expression of telomerase but packing the genes for telomerase in heterochromatin, which prevents gene transcription. I wonder if this kind of thing in the video converts this heterochromatin to euchromatin, which is (generally speaking) transcriptionally active, but can waffle between the two forms when packaged into something called facultative heterochromatin.

When I meant 10 to 15 years, i meant that technology will start to revolutionize the way we make medicine, scan diseases more accurately, prolong life expectancy and improve cell regeneration more efficiently etc etc . but reverse aging? too early for that and yeah reverse aging will only be a thing for special research and a selected few, society cannot have it because it will create instability everywhere. it's too dangerous for the common population. but you, the young generation are still very lucky, you will live in era of abundant ever increasing science and technological research. I've had glaucoma now for going on 40 years. I was diagnosed with early onset childhood glaucoma at the age of 20 years old. I have been through 5 Operations I also have cataracts. I am currently 58 years old. I would be willing to be part of a human trial if asked if not just to help me But more importantly future generations losing your vision in any way sucks. Losing it slowly over a period of time like I have At least I have adjusted to it somewhat but it's very frustrating since my health is OK otherwise.

They are NOT editing the DNA - just resetting the way the DNA is “packaged” which is referred to as the epigenome. The actual DNA is not altered. The way the DNA is “packaged” turns sections of the DNA on or off. This permits a cell to become a brain cell or a muscle cell, etc. while having the same DNA. When a section of DNA is allowed to “turn on”, it is referred to as a gene expression. What the scientists have discovered is that over time gene expression becomes a mess with genes that should not be expressed for that type of cell turning on. Also, genes that repair the cell may get turned off when they should be turned on. So by using the procedure that they’ve discovered, they can reset the cell’s epigenome back to the way it was when it was young. I got all this from the book Dr. Sinclair wrote couple of years ago.
